High-Quality, FDA-Approved Medications (Expanded to 250 words)

When it comes to losing weight, safety and quality are critical. That’s why Get Thin MD only offers FDA-approved GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Ozempic, and Mounjaro. These medications have been carefully tested and approved by the FDA, meaning they meet the highest standards for safety and effectiveness.

But what does FDA approval really mean? It means that these medications have gone through rigorous testing to ensure they work as intended and are safe for you to use.

The FDA approval process includes clinical trials, where these drugs are tested on thousands of people to confirm their benefits and identify any potential risks. When you choose an FDA-approved medication, you can trust that it’s both safe and effective.

Each of the GLP-1 medications offered by Get Thin MD works in a slightly different way, but all are designed to help you lose weight by reducing your appetite and helping your body manage sugar levels better. For example, Semaglutide works by mimicking a hormone in your body that helps control hunger, making it easier to eat less and lose weight.

Get Thin MD sources all their medications from trusted U.S. pharmacies, so you can be confident that you’re getting high-quality products. With these proven and reliable medications, you have the tools you need to achieve significant and lasting weight loss.

Proven Weight Loss Results

When you choose Get Thin MD, you’re choosing results that have been proven to work. The GLP-1 medications they offer aren’t just a quick fix—they’re backed by science. Clinical trials have shown that these medications can help people lose a significant amount of weight. In fact, many participants in these trials experienced weight loss that was both substantial and sustainable.

For instance, in one study, people who took Semaglutide lost, on average, 15% of their body weight over a year. This kind of result is much more than what most people can achieve with diet and exercise alone.

The medications work by helping you feel fuller longer, reducing your appetite, and helping your body use insulin more effectively. This combination makes it easier to stick to a healthy eating plan and see real progress on the scale.

But it’s not just about the numbers. Many users of Get Thin MD’s GLP-1 medications report feeling more energetic, confident, and healthier overall. They talk about how losing weight has allowed them to do things they couldn’t before, like playing with their kids, participating in sports, or simply feeling comfortable in their clothes.

With the support of Get Thin MD and the proven effectiveness of GLP-1 medications, you can achieve your weight loss goals and enjoy the benefits of a healthier, more active life.

Convenience and Affordability

Get Thin MD makes your weight loss journey both convenient and affordable. Once you’re approved, your medications are quickly shipped directly to your door. This means you can start your treatment without any delays, right from the comfort of your home.

Expert Opinion On GLP-1 Weight Loss Medication Like Semaglutide

Dr. Annie Moore, a board-certified physician in obesity medicine at CU Medicine, provides valuable insights on semaglutide and its use in weight management. She explains, “Semaglutide, found in medications like Ozempic and Wegovy, is highly effective for weight loss. It works by activating GLP-1 receptors to regulate appetite and promote weight loss. This makes it a powerful tool for individuals struggling with obesity or weight-related conditions.”

Dr. Moore emphasizes the importance of personalized treatment plans and ongoing support. “Better U’s approach of offering continuous support and easy access to healthcare professionals is essential. Patients need guidance not just to start the medication but to maintain their progress and manage any side effects.”

She also highlights the safety and efficacy of semaglutide. “Clinical trials have shown significant weight loss with semaglutide, often 10-15% of body weight over a year. It's a non-surgical option that provides substantial benefits without the risks associated with surgical procedures.”

Dr. Moore’s endorsement underscores the effectiveness of Better U’s model, combining convenient access to medication with strong medical support to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Comparison with Other GLP-1 Providers

When choosing a weight loss program, it’s important to compare different providers. Here’s how Better U stacks up against Remedy Meds, futurhealth, and IVY RX.

Remedy Meds

Remedy Meds offers a range of medications, including semaglutide, for weight loss.

Their service is similar to Better U in that it provides online consultations and home delivery. However, Remedy Meds tends to be more expensive, with prices often higher than Better U.

Additionally, some users have reported longer wait times for customer service responses. While Remedy Meds is a solid choice, Better U's competitive pricing and quick, responsive customer service make it a more attractive option for many.

futurhealth

Futurhealth provides a broad range of health services, including weight loss programs. They offer semaglutide and trizepatide, and their process is just as simple as any other GLP-1 provider. It's 100% worth looking into to see if they are cheaper and if you resonate with the brand.

Like we said, the process is simple – all you have to do is take a quiz and qualify for the medication. Their follow-up procedure is great, making sure the medication is reacting good for the user and double checking everything is going in a safe, healthy direction.

Futurhealth’s pricing is comparable to Better U, and their focus on weight loss is very similar. It's a good brand to take a look at.

IVY RX

IVY RX also provides weight loss medications, including semaglutide.

Their service includes online consultations and home delivery, similar to Better U. However, IVY RX is generally more expensive, with prices for follow-up prescriptions often exceeding those of Better U.

Additionally, IVY RX’s delivery times can be longer, which may not be ideal for users looking for prompt access to their medications.

Better U’s combination of competitive pricing, fast delivery, and excellent customer support makes it a preferable choice for many seeking effective weight loss solutions.

Conclusion

Better U provides an effective and convenient way to access semaglutide for weight loss and diabetes management. With their user-friendly online platform, personalized support, and home delivery service, Better U makes it easy for individuals to start and maintain their weight loss journey.

The real-life experiences of Megan, Diana, and Pete highlight the positive impact of Better U’s service, showcasing significant weight loss and improved health outcomes.

Dr. Annie Moore’s expert opinion further validates the effectiveness of semaglutide, emphasizing its benefits in appetite regulation and weight management. The combination of proven medication, continuous medical support, and a straightforward prescription process makes Better U a standout choice among weight loss providers.

For those seeking an accessible and reliable solution for weight loss, Better U offers a comprehensive package. The convenience of home delivery, the competitive pricing, and the strong support system ensure that users have everything they need to succeed. If you’re looking to improve your health and achieve your weight loss goals, Better U is a worthwhile option to consider.

Get Thin MD provides GLP-1 weight loss medications ozempic, mounjaro, semaglutide and tirzepatide. I took the Get Thin quiz, which is the “Get Started” button located on their website.

I’ll say this right away – it is extremely easy to get a prescription, as is the case with nearly all of the GLP-1 online providers.

Although I didn’t go through with it, I was able to speak with three Get Thin MD customers and ask them questions on their experience so that this could be the best available resource.

But first, the key takeaways!

The Hot Takes (Key Points)

  • Get Thin MD stands out with an individualised approach, medical support, prescription delivery and a healthier lifestyle.
  • As we cover many weight loss programs like Get Thin MD, you can expect to pay around $200 for your first prescription and over $300 (sometimes close to $400) on your second and third months. It’s expensive and it’s more of a luxury service in our books.
  • The program uses GLP-1 weight loss medications, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide which have been proven to help with weight management and appetite control.
  • Get Thin MD is for people with a BMI of 30+ or 27+ with weight related conditions, backed by a safety profile proven through extensive clinical trials.

Interviews With Real Get Thin MD Customers Who Took Ozempic

I was able to get in touch via email with three customers, but they want to remain anonymous. So out of respect to their privacy we will use different names, but their experience is real.

Customer Experience 1: Sarah

First, we interviewed Sarah, a busy stay-at-home mom who was looking for a no-hassle way to lose weight. “My goal was to lose 20 pounds total and really fix my habit of eating sweets before bed. I had heard about ozempic and how it could potentially stop the cravings, so I decided to do some research online and found Get Thin MD.”

Sarah said the process was simple, answering 7 quiz questions. “I answered 7 quiz questions, filled in my information and then I was approved, it was super simple.”

After getting approved, Sarah was then messaged by the online doctor to see if she wanted to pick up the prescription at the pharmacy or have it shipped to her house. “I decided to pick my prescription up at the pharmacy because I live pretty close to it and I had to go there anyways for my daughter. The prescription was ready in about 3 days.”

The first month was a low dosage and Sarah lost 4.5 lbs the first month, which is very realistic when it comes to GLP-1s on your first month of use. “I honestly was expecting to lose more weight the first month, but after talking with the doctor, she said I was prescribed a low dosage to see how the medication would react to me. Once I committed to moving on to month two, the doctor prescribed me a stronger dose. And it was month two that I saw the best results as I lost 10 pounds. So in two months I lose 14.5 lbs, I was ecstatic!”

Sarah is currently on month three and she said she hopes to see her 20 pound weight loss goal reached by the end of the month.

Customer Experience 2: Jake

Jake, 35, office worker, sedentary lifestyle. Had been struggling with weight for years of desk work. “I needed something to get my weight loss going, since I don’t have time to exercise” Jake said. After researching options he found Get Thin MD and was interested in their approach.

He took the online quiz which he found helpful and easy to use. “The quiz made me think about my eating habits and lifestyle in ways I hadn’t before” Jake said. Once approved he chose home delivery since he was busy. “Having the medication shipped to my door was super convenient” he said.

First month on a low dose he lost 3 pounds. Not much but enough to keep him going. “I was a bit disappointed at first but knowing this was a process helped me stay on track” he said. Second month on an adjusted dose he lost 8 pounds. “Nice to see some progress” he said. Now in his third month Jake is hoping to hit his 20 pound target.

Customer Experience 3: Linda

Linda, 60s, retired teacher. Wanted to manage her weight better in her golden years. “I’ve always been active but losing weight got tougher as I got older” she said. Linda found Get Thin MD through a friend and decided to try it out.

The setup was easy for Linda. She took the quiz and had her consultation online which she found convenient. “The doctor was very understanding and tailored the approach to my age and physical condition” she said.

Linda chose to pick up her prescription at her local pharmacy. “It gave me a reason to get out of the house and stick to my routine” she said. First month she lost 5 pounds, second month 7 pounds after the dose was adjusted. “I feel healthier and more energetic” she said. She’s looking forward to more improvements as she continues with Get Thin MD.

These are just a few examples of how our customers experience and benefit from our personalized service and treatment plan.

The subscription model adds another layer of convenience, so you have access to your weight loss treatments without any hidden fees or long term commitments.

Medical Support

Looking into the individualised aspect of Get Thin MD reveals a level of support not found in the weight loss industry. The program excels in providing expert guidance tailored to you. Through the patient portal you can message medical doctors at any time for advice on medication or dietary recommendations that fit your health goals. This ongoing, on-demand access to expert guidance is key to the program’s safety profile.

Beyond medication, Get Thin MD knows that a weight loss journey is holistic. So it’s all about:

  • A diet of whole foods—fruits, vegetables, lean proteins—to feel full and support weight loss
  • Individualised medical support
  • Nutrition

This combination of individualised medical support and nutrition will give you control of your health, so your journey with Get Thin MD is not just about losing weight but about living healthier.

Medication Without the Wait

In an age of instant everything, Get Thin MD stands out by guaranteeing fast delivery of your weight loss medication. The program’s fast delivery system means your medication is shipped from the pharmacy to your door once prescribed by a doctor. This speed of delivery is not only convenient but also ensures you can focus on your goals without worrying about running out of medication.

While convenience is a big plus, it’s also worth noting that Get Thin MD follows medical standards. To get weight loss drugs like Wegovy for example, you need a valid prescription from a licensed doctor. So while you get medication delivered to your door, you can be sure the drugs you’re taking have been deemed suitable and safe for you.

Unpacking the Medication Options

Get Thin MD is known for its many medication options:

  • Semaglutide
  • Tirzepatide
  • Ozempic
  • Wegovy

These medications have been studied in numerous clinical trials, including big clinical trials, to show better appetite control and weight loss.

The right medication for you will be determined by your health profile and weight loss goals so your treatment is as effective as possible.

Ozempic Explained

Ozempic is another one of the Get Thin MD staples. It uses Semaglutide specifically designed for weight management. Like Semaglutide, Ozempic reduces hunger by slowing down gastric emptying and acting on the appetite centers in the brain. This dual action keeps you feeling fuller for longer and reduces unnecessary snacking.

But Ozempic stands out because of the dosage and administration for weight loss. It’s once a week, which is convenient and keeps the medication in your system all week long.

Plus Ozempic reduces calorie intake and improves glycemic control by increasing insulin secretion when glucose rises. This is great for people with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes as it helps manage their blood sugar and lose weight.

By improving your metabolic profile and reducing the risk of obesity and high blood sugar related complications, Ozempic is the complete solution for weight loss and overall health.

Semaglutide Explained

Semaglutide is one of the most popular medications in Get Thin MD’s arsenal and works wonders to reduce hunger and increase fullness. By slowing gastric emptying it prolongs the feeling of fullness after meals which is key to not overeating. Also it acts on the brain areas that control appetite so your hunger pangs are kept at bay and you can stick to a calorie controlled diet.

But, Semaglutide does more than that. It also modulates brain reward centers so you don’t crave high calorie foods and can stick to healthier options.

And by increasing lipolysis (the breakdown of stored fat), Semaglutide helps your body use its fat stores and lose weight and improve body composition.

Tirzepatide and Its Dual Action

Tirzepatide is another medication offered by Get Thin MD that has a dual action. By mimicking the effects of both GLP-1 and GIP hormones (key players in signaling satiety and insulin release) Tirzepatide gives you more weight loss. This dual action not only helps you lose weight but also maintains metabolic and cardiovascular health which is often overlooked in the weight loss conversation.

In the clinical trials, those who continued tirzepatide treatment lost a lot of weight and kept it off. Compared to those who stopped the medication and regained weight, it shows the importance of continuous treatment.

For weight loss in people with high BMI (27 or above) or weight related conditions, Tirzepatide is a game changer for those who want to lose body weight and overall health. But as with any medication, be aware of the side effects, although they may go away over time, monitor them.

Step-by-Step: Starting Your Get Thin MD Program

Getting started with the Get Thin MD program is easy. First you’ll fill out a quick questionnaire so the team at Get Thin MD can understand your weight loss needs and challenges. Then you’ll talk with a medical doctor to personalize your timeline to your goals and lifestyle.

Once you’ve approved, you’ll fill out an online medical intake form. This is the beginning of your journey to better health and weight management. As you go through the program the patient portal will be your go to place for support. Here you can communicate with your doctor 24/7 for advice and encouragement as you go through your weight loss methods and get to your goal weight.

Eligibility Criteria for Get Thin MD

For safety and effectiveness reasons there is eligibility criteria to get into the Get Thin MD program. A licensed U.S. based medical doctor from the Get Thin MD team will review your questionnaire to confirm your eligibility. The criteria is a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher or a BMI of 27 or higher if you also have a weight related health issue such as high blood pressure or elevated cholesterol. This way the program is designed for those who will benefit most from medical weight loss interventions.

But not everyone is a candidate for Get Thin MD. Those with a history of certain health conditions such as medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 and women who are pregnant are excluded for their safety. It’s important to understand these eligibility requirements to see if Get Thin MD is right for you especially if you’ve tried other weight loss methods and failed.

The Science Behind GLP-1 Medications

The science behind GLP-1 medications is the basis of the Get Thin MD program. These medications work by:

  • Mimic the natural GLP-1 hormone
  • Regulate appetite and blood sugar levels
  • Bind to specific areas in the brain
  • Create a feeling of fullness
  • Reduce food intake
  • Manage weight

But the benefits of GLP-1 medications go beyond appetite control. They also:

  • Increase basal metabolic rate so you burn more calories at rest
  • Enhance insulin release and lower glucagon levels to support cellular function
  • Get significant body weight loss

Clinical Evidence Supporting Weight Loss Claims

The peptides in Get Thin MD have been proven to work in clinical trials. Users have lost a lot of body weight – some up to 15% in the first year alone. But it’s not just about the numbers on the scale. The peptides used in Get Thin MD have a great safety profile proven in clinical trials with tens of thousands of participants so your health is never compromised for weight loss.

In addition to losing weight and body fat Get Thin MD’s weight loss peptides have other health benefits that can last. For overweight individuals with heart disease the weight loss from these peptides can reduce the risk of heart attacks.

And the medications affect the gut-brain-liver axis and provide beta cell protection which are key to long term health and weight management.

Realistic Expectations: What to Expect

When you start with Get Thin MD, you need to set realistic goals. While the program can produce amazing results, some people lose 20 pounds in 3 months and 50 pounds in 6 months, everyone’s journey is different. Adherence to the program and the guidance from medical professionals is a big part of the outcome.

Remember weight loss is a process and despite the program working, not everyone will lose weight at the same rate. Some may not lose weight after weeks of following the Get Thin MD program, which can be due to many factors. Staying in touch with your doctor and adjusting your plan as needed can help you overcome these obstacles and get to your goal weight, and ultimately lose the weight you want.

What Should You Know About Semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist proven to be very effective for weight loss. Here’s a breakdown of how it works, side effects and long term use for weight management.

How Semaglutide Works

Semaglutide mimics the GLP-1 hormone which is released naturally after eating. This hormone tells the brain to reduce food intake, slow stomach emptying and increase feelings of fullness. By amplifying this natural process, Semaglutide makes it easier for patients to stick to a low calorie diet and lose weight.

“Semaglutide works by targeting areas of the brain involved in appetite regulation so patients can reduce their calorie intake naturally and sustainably,” says Dr. Angela Fitch.

Side Effects and Precautions of Semaglutide

While Semaglutide is effective, there are side effects to be aware of. Common side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation. These side effects are usually mild and will decrease over time. Be sure to talk to your doctor about any side effects to make sure the medication is right for you.

“Patients may experience gastrointestinal issues initially but can be managed by adjusting the dose,” says Dr. Vijaya Surampudi. “The side effects are mild compared to the complications of obesity.”

Long Term Use and Maintenance

Long term use of Semaglutide is key to weight loss success. The medication helps maintain weight loss over time when combined with lifestyle changes like a healthy diet and exercise. Long term use also helps with ongoing weight management and reduces the risk of regaining weight.

“Semaglutide’s ability to help patients maintain weight loss long term is big but should be part of a full weight management plan that includes diet and exercise,” says Dr. Khalid Saeed.

Clinical Trials and Results

Several clinical trials have shown Semaglutide’s weight loss effectiveness. For example, a study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that patients who used Semaglutide with diet and exercise lost more weight than those who only made lifestyle changes. These results prove that Semaglutide should be part of your weight loss plan for better results.

“Semaglutide is on a whole other level compared to other obesity medications, it’s a valuable addition to the treatment of obesity,” says Dr. Vijaya Surampudi.

Bottom Line

Get the right weight loss plan. IVY RX has effective GLP-1 medications, doctor’s visits and transparent pricing. With medication and lifestyle you can achieve long term weight management.

I understand the struggles of trying to lose weight. I’ve seen so many of my female friends struggle with this process as well. Whether trying to drop a few pounds after having a baby or trying to keep up with weight gain during perimenopause and menopause, there are a number of factors that can make it quite difficult to maintain a healthy weight. Even with the healthiest diet and rigorous exercise routine, many women are finding it challenging to look and feel their best.

I have two recommendations that I want to share with you today. FuturHealth and Noom Med are two companies that provide weight-loss medication support through online platforms. Their goal is to make it easy for you to access weight-loss medication and support without having to wait weeks to see your doctor. Both offer a variety of options to consider, including information for meal planning and lifestyle changes.

Let’s dive into FuturHealth and Noon Med. I’ve tried quite a few different products from different companies so that I can share my experiences with you.

The HOT Takes!

Most popular

FuturHealth

  • FuturHealth claims you can lose up to 1.5% of your body weight each week while following their program.

  • It takes approximately five minutes to sign up for FuturHealth.

  • You can get your medication sent to your home or pick it up from your local pharmacy. A variety of prescription options are available.

Choose FuturHealth if…

  • You want the convenience of having medication sent to your home.

  • You’re interested in additional support, like meal planning.

  • Feeling full for longer periods of time (you’re dealing with hunger all the time)

Noom Med

  • Noom Med prides itself on a strong patient-clinician relationship that tailors to your individual needs.

  • Comprehensive lab work is part of the Noom Med process.

  • There is a large selection of weight-loss medications available from Noom.

Choose Noom Med if…

  • You have a BMI of 30 or higher. You may also qualify if you have a BMI that is greater than or equal to 27 and are dealing with a weight-related medical condition.

  • You are interested in a biology- and psychology-focused approach to losing weight.

  • You’re looking for access to medications such as Zepbound, Saxenda, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Contrave, Metformin, Bupropion/Naltrexone and Topiramate.

A Glance at FuturHealth

futurhealth at a glance

FuturHealth is an online weight-loss program that provides fast access to a variety of medications that can help you lose weight and keep the weight off. They also offer additional support in the form of nutrition plans and meal ideas. A board-certified medical professional evaluates all of the information that you submit prior to prescribing anything. The process is designed to make sure you receive a safe care plan, but also to ensure you’re receiving a prescription that is going to work for your specific situation.

FuturHealth prescribes a number of different weight-loss medications in the GLP-1 category. This includes:

  • compounded GLP-1
  • Wegovy®
  • Mounjaro® and Ozempic®

My Experience

The FuturHealth process starts out with a thorough quiz that covers information like your health history, weight loss goals, what you’ve done so far to try and lose weight, medications that you’re already taking, etc. I found the process of signing up and completing the quiz only took about 10 minutes total. I was then asked to choose a day and time for my telehealth appointment.

I was thrilled to see that I was able to schedule an appointment that same week. It takes me weeks to see my primary doctor when I’m sick, let alone when I just want to speak with him about something like weight loss or another health condition. The call was pretty brief, but there was a lot of information covered. At the end of the call, I was prescribed their compounded GLP-1. I felt very safe moving forward with taking the prescription based on my conversation with FuturHealth’s medical professional. All of my information was taken into consideration before making a recommendation.

What Did I Like?

  • Fast signup process
  • Thorough evaluation
  • Additional nutrition support
  • Access to a variety of GLP-1 medications

Did It Work?

I personally used the compounded GLP-1 for a brief period of time after I had my second child. I was having trouble losing that last little bit of weight that I had gained and kept on. It took me a couple of weeks to see any kind of change in weight-loss, but the pounds started to come off pretty consistently after that. I didn’t have to stay on the medication long before I reached my goal weight. I was able to keep the weight off thanks to some of the nutritional support that I learned from FuturHealth. I also kept up with exercising regularly.

What Could Be Improved?

  • While there are a number of GLP-1 medications prescribed by FuturHealth, I would like to see additional weight-loss options provided.

A Glance at Noom Med

You might be familiar with Noom. The Noom program was designed to approach weight-loss from a psychological as well as biological perspective. It helped many people lose a tremendous amount of weight. The company now offers their Noom Med branch of the program, which provides telehealth access to weight-loss medications. Your personal needs and psychological health are still taken into account in this process.

Noom focuses on prescribing GLP-1 weight-loss medications, as the company’s website references a study that determined participants experienced a 12.4% weight loss at 68 weeks of treatment when using GLP-1 medication versus a placebo. Noom actually goes a step further and tests you for a variety of conditions that can contribute to weight gain. If you’ve been dieting and exercising without any real results, this might be a beneficial process for you.

My Experience

I tried Noom many years ago, when it first came out. It really was one of the first weight-loss programs that took into account psychology and how mental health can impact the ability to lose weight. I found the app and program to be very helpful. I recommended it to a lot of my friends during that time.

I was excited to check out Noom Med after learning about this new aspect of the brand. I was happy to see that they were still providing the same type of approach but using medication as a way to help more people. Though it made me wonder if their original business model was all that successful if they had to start offering medication as well.

The signup process was pretty simple, but you should expect things to take a little longer with Noom Med if you are going to go through different testing. You might not get your medication as quickly as you would with FuturHealth or a different company.

What Did I Like?

  • Psychology-based approach to weight-loss
  • Testing is available to help you understand the root cause of why you aren’t losing weight.
  • Different medications are available.

Did It Work?

Personally, I think Noom Med was a positive experience overall. They were thorough with the questions they asked prior to prescribing a treatment. However, I did go through a bit of testing to rule out different health issues (like a thyroid problem, for example), and that made the process longer than I would have liked.

What Could Be Improved?

  • I would like to see Noom streamline their process a little more to make accessing GLP-1 medication a bit faster.

Comparison Section of Noom Med vs. FuturHealth

Both of these companies offer similar weight-loss support, but there are some key differences to take into account when deciding which one you want to start with.

Comparing Getting a Prescription

As I mentioned, I found it easier to obtain a prescription through FuturHealth. They quickly reviewed my information and made a recommendation. Noom Med has a longer signup process, and it may take longer if it’s recommended that you go through testing to rule out other issues.

Comparing Weight Loss Programs (Support System)

I think both of these companies offer excellent ongoing support. FuturHealth provides that additional aspect of helping you learn more about nutrition and keep weight off long-term.

Comparing Pricing

The price of FuturHealth is $129.99 per month. This includes access to a doctor and a medication prescription. This price does not include your medication itself.

Noom Med costs $49 per month, but you must be a current Noom member in order to qualify. The basic Noom program costs a little over $40 per month. This cost also doesn’t include your medication.

What Are the Main Differences Between FuturHealth and Noom Med?

The main difference between FuturHealth and Noom Med is the ease of accessing prescription weight-loss medication. It is much more straightforward with FuturHealth. If you know what you would benefit from and simply need the support of a medical professional and team who can guide you through this process, I recommend you look into this company.

Noom Med has a very thorough approach to helping you figure out why you’re having difficulty losing weight, but you need to be an existing Noom member to utilize this part of their program. If that’s not something you’re interested in, this probably isn’t the option for you.

Final Thoughts

Losing weight doesn’t have to be as challenging and upsetting as it may be right now. I know what it’s like to look in the mirror and not be happy with how you look. I can speak from experience and say that both FuturHealth and Noom Med are options if you are interested in weight-loss medication. Both can help you lose weight, but the journey to getting there is different. What you feel you need to lose weight should be taken into consideration before signing up.

My Recommendations

I recommend that you look into FuturHealth to start with. The signup process is very simple, and you can obtain weight-loss mediation very quickly. If you feel like there’s something else going on with your health that could be impacting your ability to lose weight, Noom Med might be worth looking into.

FuturHealth connects you with board-certified medical professionals who will talk to you about your dietary preferences, weight-loss goals, health history, etc. They will work closely with you to develop a personalized weight-loss plan that utilizes one of the medications that they offer. They also offer a meal delivery plan to make your life even simpler.

G Plans Medication

G-Plans is slightly different from other weight-loss programs. It focuses on a nutrition plan that can be changed and adapted to suit your needs. You simply fill out a brief survey to start the process, and you receive meal plans that are based on the information that you’ve provided. With ongoing support and guidance from the G Plans app, you can track your progress and learn new ways to keep up with your weight loss and maintenance.

See if G Plans is a good fit for you!

SkinnyRx

SkinnyRx can send your medication to your home, or you can choose to use a local pharmacy to quickly obtain your prescription.

All About LifeMD Medical Weight Loss

lifemd weight loss medication

I have found that LifeMD offers a very well-rounded approach to losing weight. They offer a variety of services, such as lab testing, GLP-1 medications and ongoing support and guidance from board-certified physicians.

LifeMD offers medications such as semaglutide, liraglutide, dulaglutide and tirzepatide. The one that you’re prescribed will be based on the information that you’ve provided in your initial questionnaire. LifeMD also helps guide you with counting your calories and keeping up with an exercise program.

My Experience With LifeMD Weight Loss

I have signed up for a few different weight-loss programs to see what they’re all about, and LifeMD is definitely one of the more straightforward ones. I originally wanted to use LifeMD to drop some of that baby weight that I was still carrying around. It wasn’t coming off with just exercise and diet alone. I communicated all of this during the initial signup process, which took about 10 minutes to complete. I received my response and medication recommendation very quickly.

You can have LifeMD send you your prescription through the mail, but I wanted to get my hands on it sooner. I chose to pick up my prescription from my local pharmacy.

The medication I received was semaglutide, which is a weekly injection. As far as the medication is concerned, I tolerated it pretty well. The first week, I experienced some GI upset, but that eventually went away. I was able to touch base with the LifeMD team to confirm that the side effect was typical. I would say I lost about 2.5% of my body weight within the first 6 weeks of using semaglutide. Some people experience greater weight loss, according to the brand’s website.

I didn’t have a lot of weight to lose, so semaglutide wasn’t something that I chose to stay on for very long. However, I will say that this was a very simple process to use for obtaining medication. It was also very affordable. There are different membership plans that you can consider when you’re signing up.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With LifeMD?

According to LifeMD, some people report losing 5% of their body weight within the first 4 to 8 weeks of treatment with weight-loss medication.

How Much Does LifeMD Cost?

The LifeMD Weight Management Program costs $129 each month. Your payment goes towards your telehealth visits, a potential prescription for GLP-1 medication (the medication itself is not covered by this fee), medical lab testing and ongoing support from leading clinicians.

What I Like

  • Fast sign-up process
  • Access to GLP-1 weight-loss medication
  • Ongoing support

What Could Be Improved?

  • The cost of medication could be included in your membership fee.

What Is Found Medical Weight Loss?

found weight loss medication

Found medical weight loss considers a variety of factors that may apply to why you’re having trouble losing weight. This can include things like genetics, hormones, metabolism, diet, lifestyle and even your gut health. Found strives to not only provide you with the medication you need to lose weight, but they also educate people so they can live a healthier life overall. Your initial sign-up questionnaire will help the Found team determine which medication option is right for you.

My Experience With Found Weight Loss

The process of signing up with Found is a little longer than what I’ve experienced with other weight-loss companies. The information required was pretty basic, though. Once I was done, I was able to set up a telehealth call with someone from the Found team. A number of details were discussed during this call, including what I’ve been trying while attempting to lose weight and any health issues that I might be dealing with that could impact my ability to lose weight or use a GLP-1 medication. Some of the sign-up and tele-health process didn’t really apply to me. For example, genetics isn’t an issue, as most of my family is within a healthy weight range.

After receiving my prescription, I chose to order my Found medication through the mail. It was winter, and I didn’t feel like having to drive to a pharmacy periodically to get my product. The shipment process was very fast, and I was using my ozempic in no time.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With Found?

The amount of weight that you lose with Found will depend on which medication you’re prescribed, your diet and how much you’re exercising. However, Found advertises that you can lose up to 20% of your body weight within the first year of starting this program.

How Much Does Found Weight Loss Cost?

The price of Found will vary based on the membership you choose and how often you want to make payments. If you sign up for an annual membership, the cost is just under $600 if you pay all at once. Choosing to go month-to-month will raise the price a bit.

What I Like

  • A large variety of weight-loss medications are available.
  • Thorough review process

What Could Be Improved?

  • I think Found should be more transparent with their pricing.

Comparison Section of LifeMD vs. Found Weight Loss Programs

Comparing Weight Loss Medications

LifeMD offers GLP-1 weight-loss medications. Found prescribes FDA-approved weight-loss medications as well as other off-label items.

Comparing Pricing

LifeMD costs approximately $129 per month. Found can cost anywhere from $49 to $150 per month, depending on the plan you choose.

Comparing Support Systems Inside the Membership

Both LifeMD and Found provide an initial consultation as well as ongoing support. Again, the services you receive will depend on the details of the membership that you’ve signed up for. However, both companies allow you to reach out for assistance at any point during your membership.

What Are the Main Differences Between Found and LifeMD?

Found provides weight-loss support through medication, nutrition and exercise. Found is extremely timely with their responses. I also find that they’re a more affordable option when seeking medication support.

LifeMD is similar, but they add in the ability to complete testing to help understand the root cause of your weight-loss challenges.

Final Thoughts

Weight loss doesn’t have to be overwhelming and challenging. There are a number of options that are available that can help you achieve your goals. For some, medication may be necessary. I recommend that you look at the different weight-loss programs that I’ve outlined in this article to see which is right for you.

My Recommendations

I highly recommend Found as a place to start. They have a very straightforward and fast sign-up process. They are also very transparent regarding the different services they offer, what they charge, etc. Their support is helpful whenever you have questions.

Most of us have heard of Weight Watchers as an option for losing weight. Did you know that the Weight Watchers Clinic offers GLP-1 weight-loss medications to support their program? There are other options as well, such as SkinnyRx. SkinnyRx offers a super-fast signup and approval process that gets you on track to losing weight.

Which option is better? Let’s compare SkinnyRx and Weight Watchers to see which is a more effective weight-loss option.

The HOT Takes!

  • SkinnyRx advertises that you can lose 1.5% of your body fat per week. This is also a 15% body weight reduction.

  • A five-minute quiz gets you started with your approval process.

  • 92% of SkinnyRx users claim that they have achieved long-term results with the medications and support this company offers.

Choose SkinnyRx if…

  • You want to lose as much weight as possible in a short amount of time.

  • You deal with cravings and a strong appetite that make it difficult to control your eating.

Weight Watchers Medical Weight Loss

  • Weight Watchers offers GLP-1 weight loss medications as well as other options, as long as you qualify.

  • 15% of your body weight is the average weight loss for Weight Watchers medication, according to the company’s website.

  • Weight Watchers provides insurance support to help make medication more affordable.

Choose Weight Watchers Weight Loss Medication if…

  • You are currently using the Weight Watchers diet plan and want to complement the process with medication.

What Is SkinnyRx Weight Loss?

skinnyrx - vs weight watchers

For those who qualify, SkinnyRx offers a variety of weight-loss medications that can be sourced online. An initial questionnaire provides the SkinnyRx team with insight into what your weight-loss goals are, your challenges with losing weight and your current state of health. Once you’re connected with a SkinnyRx provider, you’ll learn if you qualify and what medication is recommended for your situation. This is all done conveniently through a telehealth platform.

You have the option of allowing SkinnyRx to send your medication to your home. If it’s faster and more convenient, you can also have your script sent to a local pharmacy. Once you’ve started the program and your medication regimen, you’ll receive ongoing support from the SkinnyRx team.

What GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications Can You Get Prescribed at SkinnyRx?

SkinnyRx offers the popular Semaglutide weight-loss medication through their website. This is a GLP-1 weight-loss product.

My Experience With SkinnyRx Weight Loss

I found that SkinnyRx offers an incredibly fast sign-up process. It took me about five minutes to fill out the initial questionnaire that is required for potential approval. The information I entered had to do with my health history, weight loss goals, previous attempts to lose weight, etc. My information was quickly reviewed by the SkinnyRx medical team. I scheduled a telehealth appointment to discuss my options.

I was approved for Semaglutide and chose to pickup my medication at my local pharmacy. However, I’ve read that it only takes anywhere from two to five days to receive your prescription through the mail.

After taking Semaglutide, I didn’t notice much of a change within the first week. It was at the two-week point that I noticed a shift in my hunger. I wasn’t experiencing cravings like I had been. Also, I felt like I got full after eating less food. The pounds were starting to slowly come off after that point.

Pros

  • Fast signup and approval process
  • Access to Semaglutide, which is a popular weight-loss medication being used by many providers.
  • Ongoing support from the SkinnyRx team
  • No insurance needed.

Cons

  • Your medication options are limited.

What Is Weight Watchers Weight Loss Medication?

weight watchers medication - vs skinnyrx

Weight Watchers has expanded their traditional weight loss program to include a variety of weight loss drugs from the GLP-1 agonist category. This includes products such as Wegovy and Ozempic. These are medications that were approved for type 2 diabetes patients, but they are now used as weight-loss medications. Use of Weight Watchers medication can result in less cravings, feeling less hungry and slowing down your digestion. Weight Watchers advertises that you can lose 15% of your body weight if you qualify for this part of their program.

What GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications Can You Get Prescribed at Weight Watchers?

Weight Watchers is currently offering medications such as Wegovy (semaglutide), Zepbound, Contrave and Rybelsus.

My Experience With Weight Watchers Medical Weight Loss

Weight Watchers is a program that I’ve been familiar with for many years. I used it many years ago, as it was a convenient way of counting calories and learning more about what I should be eating. As I got older and understood more about making healthy choices, I didn’t use it as much. The process of signing up for Weight Watchers’ weight loss medication program is relatively simple. It’s probably a lot more streamlined if you’re already using the Weight Watchers program.

It costs $49 for the initial consultation with a Weight Watchers-approved provider. During this consultation, you’ll be asked about your weight loss goals and medical history. You’ll find out if you’re approved for the GLP-1 medication and which one you qualify for. I also got approved for Semaglutide through Weight Watchers, so that’s obviously the medication for me.

Pros

  • More medication options available.
  • You can pair your Weight Watchers program with medication.
  • Relatively affordable to start out

Cons

  • It’s advertised that insurance support is provided, but a lot of insurance providers don’t cover the cost of weight-loss medications.

Comparison Section Between Weight Watchers and SkinnyRx

Still curious how they compare? Let’s break Weight Watches and SkinnyRx down further.

Comparing GLP-1 Medications Offered

SkinnyRx focuses on the once-weekly injection of Semaglutide for their program. While you might feel like this limits you, it actually means that the SkinnyRx team knows a lot about this product, how to use it and what it can accomplish.

There are a few GLP-1 medications offered by Weight Watchers, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Zepbound.

Comparing the Process (Which One Is Easier to Get a Prescription?)

I personally liked how streamlined SkinnyRx is. They have the fastest sign-up process that I’ve come across. You quickly get an appointment with a board-certified professional who will review your information. If you opt to pick up your own medication at a pharmacy, you will have your hands on your weight-loss medication in no time.

Comparing Costs and Pricing (Even Hidden Costs)

The telehealth cost for Weight Watchers is $49, while that portion of the SkinnyRx program is just $19. There are some other costs that are factored in, including the price of your medication, the initial sign-up fee, etc.

SkinnyRx costs $500 a month, which includes ongoing 24/7 live doctor support. You can cancel at any time. This does include your Semaglutide prescription.

Weight Watchers clinic is $99 per month, but there isn’t as much ongoing support or resources available. This also doesn’t include your medication costs.

What Are the Main Differences Between SkinnyRx and Weight Watchers?

While you can source Semaglutide from either of these providers, SkinnyRx offers a slightly different program than Weight Watchers. It’s nice to have ongoing support any time of day or night. If you have a question about a side effect you’re experiencing or just aren’t sure you are accomplishing your weight loss goals with what you’re doing, you can reach out to SkinnyRx for assistance.

Also, Weight Watchers appears to cost a little less upfront, but there seem to be more hidden fees associated with their program. If you’re also using their diet program, the amounts can add up quickly.

Final Thoughts and Next Steps

If you’re interested in obtaining a GLP-1 weight-loss medication to help you drop some pounds, it’s important that you’re working with an experienced team of professionals who will ensure you qualify. Having ongoing support from a company like SkinnyRx can make a big difference in your results.

My Recommendations

Visit both of these websites to see what’s offered in the way of weight-loss medications. If you’ve done your research on Semaglutide and you know that’s definitely the route you want to take, I recommend reaching out to SkinnyRx to find out more. They’re experts on this drug and will take all of the necessary steps to confirm that it’s safe and effective for you to use.

It’s time to get serious about your weight loss goals. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to get motivated about losing weight. Not to mention, it’s even harder to stay on track and keep the weight off. Fortunately, there are a number of weight-loss solutions that can make the journey so much easier. From diets to weight loss medications, losing and maintaining a healthy weight has never been easier.

Let’s take a look at two internet-based weight-loss companies that offer medical-based solutions for dropping pounds: Found and SkinnyRx. I have personal experience with both of these companies, and I’m eager to share my opinions with you.

The HOT Takes!

  • It’s advertised on the SkinnyRx website that you can lose up to 1.5 percent of your body weight weekly when using a Semaglutide prescription from SkinnyRx.

  • SkinnyRx has a very fast signup process that includes an initial quiz, a telehealth appointment and quick approval.

  • You can have SkinnyRx ship Semaglutide to your home, or you can source it from your local pharmacy.

Found Weight Loss

  • Found will connect you with one of their clinicians within 24 hours of signing up.

  • You can utilize daily guidance and support from the Found team.

  • Your personalized Found profile helps you get to the cause of your weight loss issues. This provides more effective results.

Choose Found Weight Loss Medication if…

  • You’re interested in information and support through the Found app.

  • In addition to your medication, you would like a customized weight-loss plan.

All About SkinnyRx Weight Loss

skinnyrx - weight loss medication

SkinnyRx, an online weight-loss company that provides access to Semaglutide and other weight-loss support, requires an initial intake form to be filled out. After that has been completed, you will be connected with a medical professional from the SkinnyRx team. Through a telehealth appointment, it will be determined if you qualify for Semaglutide. The goal of SkinnyRx is to provide you with fast support rather than waiting weeks or months to see your primary doctor.

If you receive approval for Semaglutide, you can choose to have your medication shipped to your door or have the script sent to a local pharmacy. The process is very streamlined, so you can get started with your Semaglutide journey in no time. Your SkinnyRx subscription also provides ongoing support, including regular contact with their team.

What Prescription Weight Loss Medications Does SkinnyRx Offer?

SkinnyRx provides prescription services for Semaglutide, a GLP-1 medication.

My Experience With SkinnyRx Weight Loss

I liked the simplicity of signing up for SkinnyRx. The company’s information is very clear, so you know what you’re getting into. I took the initial survey in about five minutes and received an upcoming telehealth appointment with someone from the SkinnyRx team. During this call, I received all of my information from the provider, including what I hoped to accomplish with my weight loss journey, my past medical history and what my weight loss challenges have been in the past.

I did receive approval for Semaglutide which I chose to purchase from my pharmacy. SkinnyRx advertises that you receive your medication in the mail about two to five days after you place your order, so that process is pretty quick as well.

I took Semaglutide for about one week before I started to notice any changes. It was into the second week that my hunger started to diminish. I didn’t wake up feeling starving in the morning, and I was able to avoid cravings and overeating throughout the day. I started losing weight at the end of the second week and moving forward.

Pros

  • Fast sign-up process
  • Access to Semaglutide, a popular weight-loss medication
  • Ongoing support from an experienced team of professionals

Cons

  • Limited medication options
  • A little expensive

What Is Found Weight Loss Medication?

found weight loss - vs skinnyrx

The Found Health team takes a close look at different factors that contribute to how a person loses weight. Things like genetics, hormones, diet, metabolism and lifestyle are all taken into consideration when coming up with a personalized weight-loss plan. Found offers a few different weight-loss medication options in the GLP-1 category. Once you complete the initial signup process and questionnaire, you’ll work with a medical professional from Found to determine which one is the best option for you.

What Prescription Weight Loss Medications Does Found Offer?

Found offers 12 different weight-loss medications through their program, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Trulicity, Victoza, Metformin and Rybelsus.

My Experience With Found Medical Weight Loss

Compared to SkinnyRx, I feel that it took longer to complete the initial Found signup process. However, once I was done, I was connected with a Found Telehealth medical professional. They reviewed all of my information with me very thoroughly. I liked that they considered a variety of factors that could have been affecting my ability to lose weight.

I received my prescription for Semaglutide through the mail. It took less than one week to arrive. There is ongoing support available, and the Found app provides additional resources. I didn’t utilize the app too much, though.

Pros

  • Several medication options are available.
  • Takes into account different factors that contribute to weight loss.

Cons

  • Found isn’t very transparent about what their program costs before you signup.
  • Slightly longer signup process

Comparison Section Between SkinnyRx and Found

While they are similar in some regards, how do SkinnyRx and Found compare? Let’s take a look.

Comparing GLP-1 Medications Offered

SkinnyRx focuses on Semaglutide as their primary medication option. If you’re not interested in Semaglutide then you might not be interested in SkinnyRx. However, I feel the ongoing support and knowledge of this program make SkinnyRx one of the better medical-based weight-loss programs out there.

There are about 12 different medications that are offered by Found.

Comparing the Process (Which One Is Easier to Get a Prescription?)

While I think that both of these programs are pretty fast regarding their approval processes, SkinnyRx is a lot better. Their questionnaire is very fast, and you’re set up for your telehealth call in a short amount of time.

I liked the ease of picking up my prescription from SkinnyRx at my local pharmacy. It made the process that much easier.

Comparing Costs and Pricing (Even Hidden Costs)

Found is a bit secretive when it comes to what their program costs. You need to sign up for an account, complete the initial intake form and then you’ll learn more about the cost. The price you pay will vary based on the different services you’re looking for as well as the type of medication that you choose.

SkinnyRx will cost you $500 a month, which includes dedicated, ongoing doctor support. You can cancel at any time that you want. This price does include your Semaglutide prescription.

What Are the Main Differences Between Found and SkinnyRx?

Found and SkinnyRx differ in price a bit, mainly because SkinnyRx includes your Semaglutide in the price of their membership. Also, the sign-up process is different. SkinnyRx provides a more streamlined approach.

I like the amount of ongoing, direct support that SkinnyRx provides. You have to turn to the Found app for a lot of your future communication and support.

Final Thoughts, Next Steps and My Recommendation

So many people are seeing success from weight-loss medications and the additional support that many of these internet-based companies offer. Consider what your challenges have been in the past regarding losing weight. Perhaps SkinnyRx or Found will stand out as options that you think will be beneficial.

I personally found SkinnyRx to be a better option for my own personal situation. I was pretty aware of what my challenges were with losing weight. I didn’t care much for some of the aspects of Found, such as looking at genetics and such. While I feel like Found is thorough with how they approach your approval for GLP-1 medications, some of it was a little lengthy for me.

To provide fast and effective access to weight loss support and medications, there are a number of reputable companies that are offering telehealth support. Some of my favorites include:

FuturHealth

They promote a healthy diet as well, taking into account all of your personal food preferences and restrictions. They even offer meals that can be delivered to your door. This is one of the best companies to use if you’re looking to get your hands on semaglutide / ozempic.

Calibrate

Calibrate provides exceptional medical support and ongoing coaching in addition to their GLP-1 weight-loss medications. The Calibrate team encourages lifestyle modifications and provides online education along with biweekly video visits. What is LifeMD Weight Loss, and is it Legit?

lifemd before and after weight loss

LifeMD provides a 360-degree approach to weight loss and weight management by way of GLP-1 medications, medical lab testing and support from experienced clinicians. They are a legit company that has been around since 2017 and is located in New York City.

What Types of Weight Loss Medication Does LifeMD Prescribe?

LifeMD can recommend and prescribe popular off-label GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide, liraglutide, dulaglutide and tirzepatide. Each of these medications works a bit differently. The information that you provide in your initial assessment will help your provider determine which option is best for you. LifeMD also recommends that you utilize calorie counting and exercise along with your medication.

How to Get a Prescription for Semaglutide From LifeMD

By filling out a confidential questionnaire, the medical team at LifeMD will be able to review your weight-loss goals and health history. You will receive a recommendation for one of the GLP-1 medications that LifeMD offers through their website. If you agree to the medication, you can choose to have your semaglutide prescription (or other medication script) sent directly to your local pharmacy or have your medication shipped to you.

How Much Does LifeMD Weight Loss Cost?

The LifeMD Weight Management Program costs $129 per month. This fee includes access to GLP-1 medications, medical lab testing and expert knowledge from leading clinicians that will ensure you’re on the right path to losing weight.

Does the Cost Include Medication?

The cost of your medication is not included in the program price. That will be an additional fee that will vary based on the drug chosen.

My Experience With LifeMD

before and after lifemd weight loss

I found that LifeMD provides a very simple process for signing up and getting approved for GLP-1 weight loss medication. I signed up for their program shortly after I had my second child. It was a lot harder trying to lose that baby weight the second time around, and the pounds just weren’t coming off quickly enough. Diet and exercise are two things that I always turn to, but I didn’t feel like they were effective enough.

It took me under 10 minutes to sign up for LifeMD, enter my information and complete the initial questionnaire. I received a prompt response, and it didn’t take long at all to receive my recommendation for medication (semaglutide).

I opted to have my prescription sent to my local pharmacy, which is only a few minutes from where I live. You can also have your medication sent to your home if that’s more convenient, but it will take a few more days.

I started taking semaglutide, which is a once-weekly injection under the skin. The first week, I noticed a little bit of GI upset, but I have a sensitive stomach as it is. I focused on my diet and exercise routine as I waited for the medication to take effect. The first month of taking semaglutide resulted in about a 2.5% loss of body weight. It’s advertised that you can lose as much as 5% of your body weight during the first month, but my results weren’t that impressive. I continued to lose a little more weight each week that I used my medication.

I didn’t stay on semaglutide for very long. It was probably about eight weeks before I decided that I had lost enough weight and wanted to go back to maintaining. My experience with LifeMD was short-lived, but it was a positive experience overall.

Are There Any Complaints From the LifeMD Weight Loss Program?

There are a few complaints on the Better Business Bureau website for LifeMD, but the issues generally have to do with people not qualifying for medication or not understanding what the final cost would be. However, the GLP-1 medications that LifeMD provides have a lot of positive reviews.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With LifeMD?

The amount of weight that you can lose with LifeMD varies based on the medication that you’re using. Your results will also depend on the dietary changes that you’ve made as well as your lifestyle. LifeMD advertises on their website that you can lose 15% of your body weight with their program.

Is LifeMD Safe?

LifeMD is a very safe program. I encourage you to be honest when you fill out your questionnaire. Obviously, you want to qualify for weight loss medication if you’re signing up for this program, but there may be medical issues that could affect how safe it is for you to use LifeMD and GLP-1 medications. It’s best to leave the decision up to the LifeMD medical team.

Final Thoughts

GLP-1 medications have shown a great deal of promise for weight loss, despite being originally created for patients with type 2 diabetes. If you qualify for one of these medications and are ready to focus on your diet and exercise routine, you can achieve some pretty impressive results. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to do more than just take your medication. As with any successful weight-loss program, it’s about changing how you live your life.

My Recommendation

I recommend that you go through the initial sign-up process and complete the questionnaire for LifeMD. You will be contacted by the company regarding receiving approval, so you can find out if you qualify for one of their GLP-1 medications. If you have any questions, you can speak with the LifeMD team before purchasing any products.

You have the ability to cancel your prescription at any time. However, you won’t receive a refund for your initial sign-up fee if you decide that you’re done with the program.

So, if you have insurance that will cover it, you'll want to go with Found or Calibrate.

What is FuturHealth?

futurhealth weight loss

FuturHealth is a very well-rounded weight-loss program that offers support in a number of ways. For example, you can receive weight loss medication after speaking with one of the board-certified medical professionals on the Futurhealth team. This is a complement to your nutrition plan, which takes into account your dietary preferences and restrictions. To make life easier, delivered meals are available. All of your support is sourced through FuturHealth telehealth calls.

My Experience With FuturHealth

I got started with FuturHealth by taking the quiz that is on the company’s website. It’s a very short process, but very thorough. I was asked what my goals are, some details about who I am and so on. Then, I was scheduled for a telehealth call with a medical professional who reviewed all of my information. It was then that I was given a recommendation for the medication I should consider using. I chose to obtain my medication through my local pharmacy, but you can also have it shipped to your home.

I liked the metabolic meal plan. These additional aspects of FuturHealth are nice, as they help support your weight loss goals without just relying on medications. Overall, I felt like the process really focused on teaching more about healthy choices that contribute to weight loss.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With FuturHealth?

The FuturHealth website advertises that using brand name GLP-1s can result in a 1.5% reduction in weight during the first few weeks. There is also a scale on the website that can help you estimate how much weight you can lose with this program.

How Much Does FuturHealth Cost?

It costs $99 to start when you first sign up for FuturHealth. This includes access to a prescription weight loss medication, your first appointment through telehealth, dietician guidance, metabolic testing and a weekly updated meal curriculum. There may be additional fees as well, depending on the medication you choose and any other services you sign up for.

Pros

  • Relatively affordable
  • Fast access to prescription weight-loss medications
  • Metabolic testing helps provide effective assistance.
  • Ongoing support provided.

Cons

  • You may not want to utilize all of the different services that FuturHealth offers, but they are included in your initial fee.
  • Your insurance may or may not help with the cost of this program.

What Is Found Health?

found weight loss

Found Health takes into account a variety of factors that can contribute to how you lose weight. This includes genetics, hormones, metabolism, diet, lifestyle and your gut health. This is a very comprehensive approach to not only losing weight, but also to living healthier overall. There are a few different medications available through Found. It will be determined which one works for you when you sign up for the program and complete your initial questionnaire. Your information will be reviewed by a medical provider before a final recommendation is made.

My Experience With Found

The Found signup process took a little longer than what I experienced with FuturHealth. It wasn’t too extensive, though. After signing up for an account, I was able to enter all of my information and get started with setting up an appointment with a Found telehealth medical professional. Something I did appreciate about Found is that they look at a variety of factors that may be contributing to weight loss challenges. I wasn’t really concerned with genetics and such, so that wasn’t overly beneficial for me. I ordered the recommended medication through the mail, and it was at my house within one week. You can reach out to your Found provider any time that you want if you feel adjustments need to be made.

Unfortunately, you can’t find out what Found is going to cost you unless you go through the signup process. There was no trial available, so I had to go ahead and sign up for a full membership.

How Much Weight Can You Lose With Found?

The amount of weight you can lose with Found will depend on the medication you are using and the other changes that you’ve made to your diet and lifestyle. The brand claims that you can lose up to 20% of your body weight in your first year of signing up.

How Much Does Found Weight Loss Cost?

You won’t be able to view your cost estimate for Found until you have created an account, completed the initial questionnaire and confirmed the path that you want to take. This was one thing I didn’t like about Found. The cost will vary from person to person, and you don’t know what you will have to pay until you spend time signing up.

Pros

  • Found takes into account a variety of factors that can contribute to your weight loss journey, including genetics, health, hormones, etc.
  • Different medications and options are available.
  • You can cancel your Found subscription at any time.
  • This is a very personalized approach to weight loss.

Cons

  • You can’t preview the cost of this program. There are a number of factors that contribute to your final price.
