]]>

I get a lot of questions about liquid multivitamins in our Go Wellness Community, and mostly its from women who have a hard time swallowing capsules / pills, or that don't believe in gummy multivitamins (too much sugar for some people).

So, I decided to go on a mission and choose 10 of the best women's liquid multivitamins to have as a resource!

To my surprise, there's actually a lot of liquid multivitamins to choose from. We started out with over 20 products that we found on amazon or brands that sell direct-to-consumer, and then narrowed it down to our top 10.

We used a vetting process that involved myself testing a few liquid multivitamins and in-depth research on the product itself via amazon, or the product's website.

It's nearly impossible for a reviewer like myself to test every single supplement that I review. However, I do follow a strict criteria to provide my readers with what I believe are the best choices - all unbiased, no BS, here are the facts and my research findings.

I have tried the top 3 choices. I like each one of them, but I did rank them accordingly based on taste, price and how I felt after taking them. Let's dive in!

Our Top Picks for Women's Liquid Multivitamins

#1

4.8/5

Manna Liposomal Multivitamin for Women

manna multivitamin for women liquid

Manna is the leading liposomal delivery supplement provider, which means they make the best liquid supplements in general. Their multivitamin tastes good and it has all the essential vitamins and nutrients for a woman!

#2

4.6/5

2x4 Liposomal Multivitamin for Women

2x4 womens liquid multivitamin

You may have seen 2x4 supplements at your local Walmart, that's because they just did a deal with them to put them on the shelves. This is a specific women's multi. It's liposomal, it's very good, but not as good as manna's. 2x4 vitamins come with no flavor. You're better off mixing it with a drink.

#3

4.6/5

Mary Ruth's Liquid Multivitamin for Women

mary ruths liquid multivitamin for women

Mary Ruth's is another leading supplement brand, as they offer family vitamins as their main products. They also have a liposomal multi for women. It tastes great, its an awesome brand and its affordable.

How We Chose

We chose liquid vitamins that would benefit women’s health

There are a lot of liquid multivitamins out there, so we took a hard look at each formula and the ones that made the cut had vitamins and minerals specific to women’s health that have benefits such as:

  • Strengthens immune system
  • Supporting energy levels
  • Supporting metabolism
  • Supports hair, skin and nails
  • Supports vision, brain and skin health
  • We got rid of any liquid multivitamin that we believe wouldn’t serve a woman specifically.

How You Should Choose

Step 1: Identify Your Personal Needs

First things first, understanding your unique nutritional requirements is essential. The best liquid multivitamin is one that complements your specific dietary needs, lifestyle, and health goals. Are you a busy working professional, a passionate athlete, or a supermom constantly on the go? Take a moment to reflect on your daily routine, dietary habits, and any specific underlying health issues you may have, or have had in the past.

Step 2: Evaluate the Ingredients

Now that we have established our personal needs, it's time to scrutinize those ingredient labels like a seasoned detective! Look for a comprehensive blend of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that target the specific concerns women face. Pay attention to key players such as B vitamins, iron, calcium, vitamin D, and folic acid, which play vital roles in supporting energy levels, bone health, and reproductive health.

Step 3: Quality Matters

Ah, quality—the backbone of any worthy liquid multivitamin. Seek out brands that prioritize quality sourcing, transparency, and strict manufacturing standards. Are the ingredients sourced sustainably? Are the products independently tested for purity and potency? These are the questions that you really want to answer for yourself. The good news is that we only chose brands that we trust and that we know create quality liquid multivitamins.

Step 4: Bioavailability and Absorption

As we delve deeper into the mystical realm of liquid multivitamins, we encounter the importance of bioavailability and absorption. Liquid forms boast an advantage here, as they are typically more readily absorbed by our bodies compared to traditional pills or capsules. Look for liposomal or nano-encapsulated formulations, as these innovative technologies enhance nutrient absorption, maximizing their beneficial effects.

Our Top 10 Best Liquid Multivitamins for Women

We started out with over 20 liquid multivitamins, but only 10 made the cut! Here are our top-rated women's liquid multivitamins!

manna multivitamin for women liquid

One of the things that makes this option so promising is its potential for absorption. Thanks to the Nanofuse Liposomal Technology, your body will be able to take full advantage of the all-natural ingredients.

Manna Liposomal Multivitamin contains ingredients that are encapsulated in liposomes, which protect the vitamins and minerals so that they can be fully absorbed. This made-in-the-USA product contains Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, and magnesium to support the body’s essential metabolic functions. Also in the list of nutrients are Vitamin D, B-complex, iodine and a super fruit blend containing phytonutrients and antioxidants.

This liquid multivitamin can be obtained from the company’s website with free shipping. One bottle contains a 30-day supply, and you can automate your subscription to save 28-percent.

Pros

Manna Liposomal Multivitamin is designed to build your immune system, support energy and help you age well. With ingredients like these and liposomal delivery, your body gets the most benefit. Plus, it’s vegan, non-GMO, gluten free, hexane free and contains no fillers or colorants.

Cons

It might be more convenient if Manna provided the option to purchase their products at additional websites and brick-and-mortar stores.

2x4 womens liquid multivitamin

Designed for women, this liquid multivitamin also features liposomal delivery for enhanced absorption. The manufacturer describes 2x4 Women’s Multi as supporting a more robust immune system, aiding relaxation and promoting a more balanced mood. Additionally, this supplement boosts collagen production, thereby supporting healthier skin.

This product is bound to look attractive to women who are careful about what they put in their bodies because there's no sugar or artificial colors. Additionally, the multivitamin is gluten, dairy and soy free and contains non-GMO lipids.

Like Manna Liposomal Vitamin, this product contains a proprietary liposomal delivery system. Known as Nutristack Liposomal Technology, this innovation provides two-step delivery so that the ingredients are immediately absorbed in the blood and then sent to the cells.

Pros

The liposomal delivery is great, and this supplement contains all major vitamins as well as zinc, magnesium, iodine, iron, biotin, chromium and manganese. Also present are ashwagandha and lemon balm to promote better stress management.

Cons

Although the manufacturer claims on their website that this product is third party tested, it doesn't carry any labels attesting to this status. Typical labels for this category of products include NSF, USP and Certified Gluten-Free. This raises some suspicion with regard to the third party testing that may have been conducted.

mary ruths liquid multivitamin for women

Including amino acids, essential vitamins and fundamental minerals, this high-quality product has a devoted following. Some notable ingredients in Mary Ruth’s Liquid Multivitamin include niacin, riboflavin, Vitamin E, folate, Vitamin B12, biotin, zinc and chromium.

Users appreciate that this liquid multivitamin is soy, sugar, dairy and nut free as well as being vegan. It's manufactured in a GMP facility. GMP is an acronym for “good manufacturing practices,” and facilities that carry this designation meet strict requirements for cleanliness and safety.

Designed to support overall health, this product is intended to be taken each morning, with a two-tablespoon serving being appropriate for anyone aged 14 and older.

Pros

Most people enjoy the flavor of this liquid multivitamin, which helps to ensure that users actually take it each day. In addition to being made in a GMP facility, this product is Clean Label Project Certified, which means that it's regularly submitted to a laboratory to establish the quality of ingredients used.

Cons

The lack of liposomal delivery may have a negative effect on absorption. However, this likely is still better with a liquid multivitamin than it would be with pills or capsules.

tropical oasis womens liquid vitamins

This sugar-free multivitamin contains more than 100 herbs, vitamins and minerals that are designed to have anti-aging benefits as well as supporting the health of the bones, brain and heart.

Made by Tropical Oasis, this product is available through Amazon. The manufacturer boasts that this multivitamin provides relief from PMS, lowers levels of chronic stress and helps users to feel younger. One of the most notable ingredients is Dong Quai, also known as the “female ginseng.” This plant has been featured in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries as an antidote to fatigue, pelvic pain and unpredictable menstrual cycles.

Pros

This option is unflavored, which may appeal to anyone who has been bothered by the flavor of liquid supplements in the past. Manufactured in the USA in a GMP facility, you can rest assured that this product is safe to take. The absence of artificial colors and flavors is another plus.

Cons

This formulation contains sugar alcohols, an ingredient that is known to cause excess gas in many users. It also would be nice to see more third party testing of the ingredients.

now liquid multi

Made by a family-owned company, this vegetarian/vegan liquid multivitamin is readily available at Amazon. It promises fast absorption and contains phytonutrients. These plant-based natural chemicals are believed to help the body operate properly and prevent common diseases.

Also included in this formulation is rice protein, a component that boosts bioavailability to ensure better absorption as well as a VitaBerry Fruit Blend that contains grape, wild blueberry, raspberry, cranberry, strawberry and other vital extracts.

Each bottle of NOW Liquid Multi is packaged in a GMP certified facility that is located in the USA. Potential users may appreciate the company’s commitment to sustainable practices and charitable giving.

Pros

NOW has laudable core values, and the idea of getting a liquid multivitamin product from a company that emphasizes health and quality likely appeals to many consumers. The ingredient label indicates the presence of all of the expected vitamins and minerals as well as helpful extras like lutein, organic kelp and organic aloe vera leaf juice.

Cons

Despite being made in a GMP certified facility, there is no indication on the label that any additional third party testing is conducted on the individual components or the finished product.

alive liquid multivitamin for women

Nature’s Way is a widely recognized supplement and vitamin company, and this offering is designed to promote ultimate absorption. It’s available in both citrus and unflavored varieties, which may appeal to many consumers.

A vegetarian product, the formulation includes orchard fruits, daily greens and garden veggies in a proprietary blend. The manufacturer promises that taking this supplement supports bone health, cellular energy and immune health.

Pros

Nature’s Way is a well-known brand name, and this particular product hits most of the right notes as far as its ingredients. In addition to the expected vitamins and minerals are proprietary blends of greens, fruits and veggies as well as mushroom mycelial.

Cons

The seven grams of added sugar and six grams of sugar alcohols may put off some consumers. Moreover, Nature’s Way doesn’t make any claims with regard to third party testing, something that the most well-regarded supplements typically tout.

nutririse liquid multi for women

This liquid multivitamin from NutriRise places a heavy emphasis on beauty, promising results for hair, skin and nails as well as “Youth & Vitality.” Among the other claims are that this product will help maintain better energy levels, support wellness and immunity and aid fitness and digestion.

NutriRise Liquid Multivitamin is a sugar-free supplement that stimulates the natural production of collagen. Non-GMO and gluten free, this supplement is a vegan product that boasts a berry flavor.

Pros

The vegan amino acid blend is an attractive addition to the list of ingredients, especially as these may be an essential component for anyone following a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

Cons

Although the listing on Amazon says that this product is third party tested, no certifications appear on the label. This makes it impossible to assess the true quality of the ingredients or the finished product.

garden of life liquid vitamin

Available in fruit punch or orange mango flavor, this Garden of Life liquid multivitamin is formulated to support both physical and mental energy and well as making bones and joints healthier. Users may notice that their metabolism speeds up and that they get sick less often thanks to this supplement.

This dairy and gluten free product is suitable for vegetarians and doesn’t contain artificial flavors or colors. In addition to the expected vitamins and minerals, the formula contains a blend or raw, organic fruits, vegetables and organic mushroom mycelia as well as a sprout blend.

Pros

Garden of Life seems to have developed a proprietary formulation that contains all of the essentials plus a few extras that will support your efforts to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Cons

With one bottle being available on Amazon priced at $75.99, this is by far the most expensive option. Each bottle contains just 30 servings, making it a one-month supply. Although Garden of Life supplements are USDA organic and Non-GMO Project Certified, they are missing certifications from NSF and USP.

go healthy liquid multi women

Women with allergies will appreciate that this product doesn’t contain dairy, tree nuts, wheat, sesame, fish, peanuts, shellfish, eggs or soy. Nonetheless, this vegetarian and gluten-free product has the essential vitamins and minerals that your body requires.

Go Healthy Multivitamin can be purchased at Amazon and is relatively inexpensive. In the formula are many plant- and marine-based complexes as well as 63 trace minerals. With folate and whole-food sources, this is a high-quality option.

Pros

Go Healthy boasts that the ingredients are all natural and plant based rather than being synthetic. An absence of allergen makes this a safe bet for anyone with food sensitivity.

Cons

No claims are made with regard to third party testing, and the flavor may not appeal to everyone.

boostme liquid multi organic

With the absence of added sugar and a proprietary superfood blend, this BoostMe multivitamin is a solid choice. It has ashwaganda root to support stress response andamino acids to ensure proper protein intake.

This option is gluten and GMO free and certified USDA organic. The aloe flavor is unusual and may not be for all consumers.

Pros

It’s nice to see that this multivitamin is certified organic, and that it contains a plant-based formulation that includes the essential vitamins and minerals that a healthy body needs.

Cons

This is another option that doesn’t offer much in the way of third party testing information.

  • The key ingredients in ONNIT have the potential to support your immune system, maintain healthy neurotransmitters, increase energy levels and support joint health.

  • You want to be very intentional with what you’re putting in your body at a specific time of the day and night.
  • You’re looking to support various aspects of your health.
  • A multivitamin just doesn’t cut it.

AG1

  • AG1 contains more than 75 different ingredients.
  • Some of Athletic Greens’ ingredients are part of a proprietary blend, so you don’t necessarily know how much of each you’re getting.
  • AG1 contains probiotics and digestive enzymes for optimal gut health.

Choose AG1 if...

  • You want a product that will not only add in nutrients but also support gut health.
  • You’re looking for support from antioxidants, probiotics, digestive enzymes, adaptogens, superfoods and more.

What Is ONNIT Total Human?

onnit total human vs athletic greens

Onnit has formulated their Total Human product with a selection of clinically studied vitamins, minerals, nootropics and botanical nutrients. This product takes multivitamins to the next level, supporting various parts of the body such as the immune system, bones, joints, brain, heart, mood, etc.

The unique thing about ONNIT Total Human is that it’s broken down into a dose for the morning and another one for the evening. A lot of research and development has gone into determining what your body needs during these specific points in the day. The morning dose will help you feel energized, while the evening one will help you wind down and feel relaxed.

What Exactly Is In ONNIT Total Human?

As I mentioned, ONNIT Total Human is broken down into morning and evening blends. They include:

Morning Blend

AlphaBrain

This nootropic formula helps support brain waves by way of healthy neurotransmitters. This helps promote clearer thinking.

StronBone

Containing strontium, boron and essential vitamins, this blend is designed to provide bone support.

ShroomTech

The functional mushroom and adaptogen blend in ONNIT helps provide cellular energy that can help improve performance and endurance during physical activity.

B Complex

Specific quantities of B-complex vitamins can help increase your energy production, so you’re more focused and energized throughout the day.

Evening Blend

NewMood

To help you unwind after a long day, ingredients are included in ONNIT, such as valerian root and lemon balm. These ingredients support healthy serotonin levels.

VIRUTech

To help your body heal while you sleep, VIRUTech is made using vitamin C, selenium and zinc. It’s the perfect support for your immune system during the cold and flu season.

Key Minerals

Boron, calcium, iodine, molybdenum and magnesium are part of the key mineral blend in ONNIT Total Human.

My Experience With ONNIT Total Human

I was intrigued by ONNIT Total Human since it’s broken down into two different blends. I didn’t love the idea of having to take a product twice per day, but I suspected that Total Human was going to allow me to take fewer supplements overall. I often notice that multivitamins and similar products make me very awake and energized. I hoped that these two different formulas would prevent me from being up late at night trying to unwind.

The morning dose of ONNIT Total Human left me feeling very energized. There wasn’t anything that concerned me in regards to feeling jittery or experiencing an energy crash later in the day. It was a steady form of energy that I felt wore off on its own by about late afternoon. Over a few weeks of taking this product, I felt like I had more energy and endurance overall. My workouts were definitely picking up as time went on.

I took my evening dose after I ate dinner. After about an hour or so, I noticed that I was feeling very relaxed. I didn’t feel like I wanted to head to bed already, but I was able to enjoy the feeling of being less stressed than usual. I slept really well, even on the first night of taking Total Human.

Pros of ONNIT Total Human

  • Two distinct blends of ingredients are a unique feature that really tailors your approach to taking supplements.
  • There are a large number of beneficial ingredients in Total Human.
  • Made using clinically studied ingredients.

Cons of ONNIT Total Human

  • I had to remember to take my evening dose because I wasn’t used to taking anything in the evening.

What is AG1 (Athletic Greens)?

ag1 vs total human

Originally created in 2009, Athletic Greens was intended to address gut health issues. The formula has changed slightly over the years, now providing more than 75 different essential nutrients in each serving. There’s still that gut-health aspect to it, as it contains probiotics and digestive enzymes. Also included are functional mushrooms, antioxidants, herbs and more.

What’s In AG1?

Athletic Greens breaks their products down into different proprietary blends. You get all the essentials, like vitamins A, C, E, B12, biotin and folate. Some super foods are also included, such as spirulina, wheat grass, alfalfa, apples, blueberries, milk thistle, chlorella, dandelion and much more.

From stress adaptogens to antioxidants, AG1 provides your body with everything it needs to thrive. There’s no way you’ll access all of these nutrients and benefits from your diet alone.

My Experience With AG1

I’ve been using AG1 for a number of years now. It’s a very popular product that’s had a pretty prevalent presence on social media, which is how I originally came across it. I was experiencing gut health issues at the time, and I was worried that I wasn’t getting enough nutrients from my diet alone.

I started drinking AG1 first thing in the morning with a light breakfast. It didn’t cause any stomach upset, but I noticed a little bit of an adjustment period for the first week or so. Eventually, I became more regular and started noticing the benefits of my daily AG1 use. This included increased energy; my immune system seemed to be stronger; and I felt like I was handling stress better.

Pros of AG1

  • Nothing artificial is included.
  • AG1 is designed to provide you with essential gut health support.
  • You can get your probiotics from this product without having to take them separately.
  • Over 75 essential ingredients are part of the Athletic Greens formula.

Cons of AG1

  • While AG1 has a bit of a fruity taste, it’s not my favorite greens drink flavor.
  • It takes a little bit of shaking to get AG1 mixed well.

Comparison Section of AG1 vs. ONNIT Total Human

While they may seem similar in some regards, these two products have some key differences. Let’s compare them.

Comparing Formulas

Both AG1 and ONNIT Total Human have very extensive formulas compared to other similar products I’ve come across. AG1 is impressive, with more than 75 different ingredients.

ONNIT Total Human contains a large number of ingredients, but they come from different ONNIT supplements that are sold individually. For example, their AlphaBrain, StronBone, ShroomTech Sport and Total Human B Complex are in the daytime formula. These blends contain ingredients like B-complex vitamins, nootropics, functional mushrooms, adaptogens and more.

Comparing Price

The price of AG1 is $99 for a 30-day supply. The order is $79 if you sign up for an AG1 subscription, and you get some extra supplies with your first order.

The price of ONNIT Total Human is $137.95 for a 30-day supply of both the morning and nighttime products combined. This brand also offers a subscription, which drops the price to $177.26.

Comparing Results

I experienced two very different sets of results when using AG1 versus ONNIT Total Human. AG1 provided me with energy and focus while supporting my gut health. I found that ONNIT Total Human’s daytime formula provided me with energy. However, their evening formula helped me wind down and calm down. I felt less stressed when using Total Human, even though AG1 also contains adaptogens.

What Are the Main Differences Between ONNIT Total Human and Athletic Greens?

ONNIT splits their Total Human product into two different daily doses. Athletic Greens has stuck with a once-daily formula. I honestly prefer using something once per day, but there are definitely people out there that can benefit from a separate product in the evenings. I think Total Human would be beneficial for someone who is dealing with sleep issues, nervous system dysregulation, high levels of stress and so on.

I would recommend AG1 to someone who is looking to get their gut health back on track and wants to add some nutrients to their daily routine.

Final Thoughts

Both AG1 and ONNIT Total Human are excellent products that can help increase your nutrient intake, boost energy and support whole-body health. I like AG1 for increasing my intake of healthy, whole-food ingredients and nutrients. It has also helped me keep my gut health on track.

ONNIT Total Human is a more targeted product that I feel helps with performance and overall health. The nighttime formula is ideal for someone who wants to feel more regulated from a nervous system perspective.

My Recommendations

Consider why you’re thinking about using AG1 or Total Human. Is it for increased nutrient intake? How is your gut health? Are you looking for better performance in the gym? Answering these questions can help you determine which product is the better option.

I don’t know about you, but I find it incredibly difficult to make sure I’m eating all of the nutrients that my body needs each day. It helps to start the day with a nutrient-dense smoothie or to eat a salad packed with veggies and protein for lunch, but I find that most days I fall short. Luckily, vitamins come in handy when I feel like I have gaps in my nutritional intake.

A lot of vitamin brands are tailoring their products to different age and gender groups, but it’s still difficult to know what to buy. I created this review as a way of comparing two popular vitamins: Onnit Total Human and Thorne Elite Multi.

Let’s get started talking about what’s in each of these supplements, what I thought of them, and which one you should choose.

Key Facts To Know Before Buying Total Human or Thorne Elite

All About Onnit Total Human

Onnit Total Human is a collection of essential and clinically studied vitamins, minerals and botanical nutrients. It really elevates the traditional multivitamin. The Onnit brand has developed this product to support many different areas and functions of the body, including the brain, bones, joints, mood, energy levels and the body’s immune response.

Total Human is broken down into two different doses: one for morning use and one for evening. Each is formulated with different ingredients based on what your body needs at that point in time. There are even proprietary blends, such as:

Morning Blend

AlphaBRAIN

This is a nootropic formula that supports normal alpha-brain waves. It also helps produce and maintain neurotransmitters to support proper cognitive function.

StronBONE

Containing strontium, boron and other essential vitamins, this proprietary blend helps with healthy bone support.

ShroomTECH Sport

Containing adaptogens and Vitamin B12, ShroomTECH Sport supports cellular energy and increases cardiovascular endurance.

Total Human B Complex

This collection of B vitamins helps with increased energy production, so you feel more focused and motivated throughout the day. It also helps with neural communication.

Evening Blend

NewMOOD

This is a proprietary blend of ingredients like valerian root and lemon balm. It’s designed to help support healthy serotonin production and relax you before bed.

VIRUTech

Containing vitamin C, selenium and zinc, I was excited to try this blend for an immune boost during our area’s cold, flu and COVID seasons. Our kids are constantly bringing germs home from school.

Key Minerals

Whole-body support comes from ingredients such as boron, calcium, iodine, magnesium and molybdenum.

My Experience With Onnit Total Human

This is the first multivitamin product that I’ve tried that utilizes both a morning and evening dose. I was a little reluctant to try it out, mainly because I know that vitamins usually perk me up when I take them. I was nervous that I was going to be up all night, even if the formula was a bit different. Luckily, that wasn’t the case.

The Morning Dose

My morning dose of Onnit Total Human definitely gave me a boost of energy. It wasn’t anything that made me feel jittery or anxious, but I felt like I got more done on the days that I was taking it. That feeling wore off by the time I was taking my evening dose.

The Evening Dose

I chose to take my evening dose of Onnit Total Human after dinner when I was relaxed and on the couch reading. In case it was going to make me very tired, I didn’t want to have things that still needed my attention.

I definitely felt relaxed after about 30 minutes of taking this supplement. It wasn’t enough to make me fall asleep on the couch, but I was ready to crawl into bed at a reasonable hour. I slept soundly, only waking up once. For me, that’s a pretty big accomplishment since I’m a light sleeper.

What I Liked

  • Comes in convenient day and night packs for ease of use.
  • A subscription saves you 25%.
  • You can choose how often you receive deliveries.
  • This product contains vitamins, minerals and other botanical ingredients.

What I Didn’t Like

  • You have to take a dose both in the morning and at night.
  • The packaging is a bit bulky and wasteful, considering everything is individually packaged for both day and night.

All About Thorne Elite Multi

Thorne has created an A.M. and P.M. multivitamin that is designed to boost your energy in the morning, while the evening formula helps with recovery. This is more of a performance-based multivitamin supplement. I’m not a professional athlete, but I do run six days a week. I don’t mind supplements that help increase my performance and help me feel less sore and tired afterwards.

Morning and Evening Formulas

Both the morning and evening formulas contain some of the same nutrients, such as:

Vitamin D

This vitamin helps boost your immune response and promotes strong bones.

B Complex Vitamins

This complex is ideal for energy, nervous system regulation, heart function and blood vessel support.

Vitamins K1 and K2

K1 and K2 are vitamins that are needed by the body for healthy bones and blood vessels.

AM Formula

The A.M. formula contains a few additional ingredients, like green tea extract (for fat burning and energy production) and Meriva, which is a proprietary blend that helps with joint and muscle soreness, inflammation and mobility. The A.M. formula contains a ton of antioxidants, which help support healthy aging. In my 40’s, I need all the help I can get!

PM Formula

The P.M. version of Thorne Elite includes the proprietary blend Relora, which contains a mix of magnolia and phellodendron extracts. This blend is designed to down-regulate your cortisol production so you feel less anxious. Not only does this help you wind down at night, but it can also help with weight loss and weight management. Even better, Relora can help reduce nighttime cravings. I’m a terrible nighttime snacker and often want to grab something little in the middle of the night to hold me over to the morning.

My Experience With Thorne Elite Multi

I have to start by saying that I don’t love the green tea that is in Thorne Elite Multi. I can tolerate things like B-complex vitamins for a boost of energy, but caffeine just doesn’t sit well with me. Because of that, I didn’t really like taking the A.M. dose very much. Aside from the caffeine, the Thorne Elite Multi Morning variety contains some important ingredients that I was happy to add to my routine. I like a small breakfast in the morning and generally eat more of my calories later in the day. It was nice to feel like I was filling in nutritional gaps with this product.

The P.M. version of Thorne Elite Multi provided a better experience than the A.M. one. It helped me wind down in the evenings. When I feel like I’ve worked out too hard during the day, it’s really hard for me to feel relaxed leading up to bed. This usually impacts my sleep as well. I was able to sit with my family at night, feel chill and then get a good night of sleep. I feel like I also experienced less soreness from my daily runs.

What I Liked

  • In addition to this supplement providing you with daily nutrients, it also contains ingredients that can help with fat burning and physical performance.
  • Contains herbal and natural ingredients.
  • Relora is in the evening dose to help reduce cortisol levels before bed. You may find it easier to wind down and drift off to sleep.

What I Didn’t Like

  • This is also an A.M. and P.M.-based formula.
  • You have to take three capsules in the morning and three at night.
  • You have to pay extra for the version that is NSF-certified for sport.
  • Contains caffeine from green tea.

My Recommendation

I personally favor Onnit Total Human. While Thorne Elite Multi is also a really great formulation, I prefer what Onnit has included in both of their blends. Of course, I recommend that you look at both of these products to see which one would be more beneficial for your situation. If you’re extremely physically active, work out often or are an athlete, you may want to check out Thorne’s product instead.

Choose Onnit Total Human If You…

  • Are looking to fill in nutritional gaps with essential ingredients.
  • You want a supplement that can help you wind down in the evenings and help you get more restful sleep.
  • Trust the proprietary blends that this high-quality supplement brand has included in their multivitamin.
  • You’re intrigued by that immune boost that comes from the VIRUTech proprietary blend. We get sick with everything in our house, so I was really pumped for those ingredients.

Choose Thorne Elite Multi If You…

  • Are looking for a multivitamin that supports an active lifestyle.
  • You want the option to purchase a product that is NSF-certified for sport.
  • You don’t want individual packages for each daily dose.
  • Are looking for some additional fat-burning and weight management support.
