My kids are picky eaters, they have been since they were old enough to eat whole foods. While this is frustrating for me as someone who prioritizes health and wellness and would like to share my passion with my family, I am also understanding of the fact that kids are kids and they’ll likely grow out of their picky eating habits as they age.

In late 2020 when my youngest turned two and my oldest was four, I began looking for a daily kids multivitamin that would support both of my children. That’s when I discovered Hiya, a new kids' vitamin brand that offered a direct-to-consumer option. For a myriad of reasons, which I will get into later in this review, I decided to give Hiya a try. 3+ years later, Hiya Vitamins are still being delivered to our doorstep every month, this article is going to explain why based on our unique experience.

Are you considering Hiya Vitamins for your kiddos? Wondering if the cost is worth it? I’ve got you! I’ll share our experience with the brand and why we continue to subscribe.

How I Found Hiya Kids Vitamins

hiya vitamins on kitchen counter

It’s hard to believe, but it wasn’t until recently (within the last few years) that we started seeing an influx of direct-to-consumer brands. Typically, if we were in need of a kid’s vitamin, we’d either hit up our local Walgreens or head to Amazon. Today these options still exist, but we also have the option to buy vitamins right from the manufacturer, as is the case with Hiya.

I discovered Hiya the way I discover many products these days, by way of a Facebook ad. I was instantly intrigued as Hiya looked different than most kids' vitamins (chewable vs gummy) and their marketing (no sugar!) was compelling.

After clicking over to the website, I started doing some research to see if this brand was the real deal or not.

What Makes Hiya Kids Vitamins Different Than Other Brands?

Most vitamin companies say that they third-party test, but none of that information is truly verifiable. It is with Hiya, and they are the leader in the industry, going above and beyond standard quality assurance practices. Hiya conducts heavy metal testing on every batch of every product that is produced. They use independent, reputable third-party labs for testing, which are accredited ISO/IEC testing laboratories with affiliations with the FDA and other regulatory bodies. This is the Hiya difference!

Making the Buying Decision

Hiya’s website is bright, fun, and informative, and it tells me all the things I like to hear as a mom like “no added sugars, dyes, and gummy additives!” Prior to Hiya, I was giving my 4-year-old son gummy vitamins, which I’m sure weren’t inherently bad, but every parent gets the “no gummies” speech from their kid’s pediatrician and dentist, so I was definitely feeling a bit cringy about them.

I liked how the brand highlighted expert's opinions and reviews of their kids’ vitamins and the fact that the brand was started by a couple of dads who wanted to do better for their kids. It seemed super legit and wholesome.

I was a little taken aback by the monthly cost of the vitamins, but they definitely softened the blow by offering 50% off your first month. I decided to start off with just one bottle to test the waters before purchasing a subscription for both of my kiddos.

Another thing that I noticed was that they didn’t give me the option to do a one-time purchase, it’s a subscription only. I have mixed feelings about that, but ultimately I was fine with it since Hiya promised that I could cancel at any time.

First Impressions

holding hiya kids multivitamins

I don’t recall exactly how long my order took to ship, but I don’t remember there being any issues either. We received our first Hiya package and were impressed with the quality of the bottle and the packaging. Staying true to their theme, the packaging is bright, fun, and kid-friendly.

The best part was the fact that the reusable glass bottle that you get with your very first purchase comes with a pack of stickers that your kiddo(s) can use to decorate their own bottle. My 4-year-old eagerly took on the task and began stickering up his bottle. They even included letter stickers so that you can have your child’s name on the bottle, which comes in handy when you have more than one child.

Taste Test!

This is what we really want to know, right? Does Hiya taste good? Do kids like them?? Well, mine sure do! Both kids tried and loved Hiya on the first day. In fact, they both wanted more than one tablet.

Of course, I taste-tested them, too, and have to agree, they’re good! Think Flintstones vitamins without the weird vitamin taste. Hiya is sweet, but not too sweet, and it doesn’t have any kind of funky vitamin taste. I was very pleasantly surprised!

Results?

When I see people speaking about specific results or benefits that their kids are getting from taking a multivitamin, I have to raise my eyebrow a bit. How do you quantify that? I suppose if your kid had a dramatic transformation from adding a multivitamin you have a case, but in our scenario, there wasn’t much I can report as far as results are concerned.

I wanted to supplement my kids’ diets with a multivitamin because they don’t eat as balanced and nutrient-dense of a diet as I’d like them to. The benefit that we get from giving these to our children is knowing that they are being supported by additional vitamins and minerals that they’re likely lacking in their regular diet.

For my family, I can’t claim any crazy results or anything like that, just peace of mind that they were getting what their bodies needed.

Why We Still Take Them Today (3 Years Later!)

Over the last 3 years, my kids have both taken Hiya pretty consistently. We ended up getting a monthly subscription for both kids. Aside from the handful of times that we have paused our subscription to try some other options like First Day, Mary Ruth’s, and Smarty Pants, we have kept up with Hiya most consistently out of any other vitamin brand.

Why? Because it’s easy, I trust Hiya, and my kids like them. The vitamins are delivered right on time to my mailbox every month, eliminating the problem of running out of vitamins and forgetting to pick up more for weeks or months at a time. Truthfully, the subscription model has helped us be far more consistent with our vitamin routine than ever before. Plus, the slightly elevated cost helps keep us motivated not to waste them!

At some point over the past couple of years, Hiya added a kid’s probiotic and a nighttime supplement to their lineup, both of which I jumped on board with and tried. I get into the details of those products in separate reviews, but to sum things up, we like all of Hiya’s products. My kids now take the multivitamins and probiotics daily and take the nighttime sleep supplement as needed.

Who Do I Recommend Hiya For?

Since I’m not a pediatrician, I’m not going to vehemently suggest Hiya, or any vitamin for that matter, to any parent as we should all be consulting with our pediatricians. However, as a mom speaking to other parents, I would say give Hiya a try if you feel like your child isn’t eating enough fruits, veggies, and overall variety in their diet.

As a parent, I prefer Hiya to Gummy Kid’s vitamins because I know it’s an overall cleaner product. Gummies tend to contain a lot of junk and fillers, whereas Hiya keeps its tablets clean and free of extras. Plus, my kids love them, which is a major win.

For parents of multiple children, Hiya is great because it caters to children of all ages, beginning at age 2. Additionally, the reusable glass bottles that each child has the freedom to decorate makes the idea of taking their daily vitamin fun and convenient. You can also feel great about the fact that Hiya is really eco-friendly!

Other Kids Vitamins We Tried And You Should Consider

Many different companies sell kids multivitamins to meet the nutritional requirements of little ones. Let’s compare Hiya Kids to a couple of popular alternatives.

First Day is one of the brands that is on par with hiya, but let's take a look at some others and what the alternatives may be.

First Day

First Day kids gummy multivitamins contain nine essential nutrients from 12 organic fruits and vegetables to support your little one’s growth and development. They offer a subscription similar to Hiya’s. First Day is also environmentally responsible and ships monthly refill pouches if you choose to subscribe.

The main difference between these two is the nutrient profile and the sugar content. First Day multivitamins come in gummy form and have 2 grams of sugar per serving (two gummies).

Their vitamins have vitamin K, but lack minerals such as zinc, manganese, and calcium. A one-time purchase costs $32 a bottle. However, with a subscription they only cost around $27.43 a bottle.

To learn more see our First Day and Hiya side-by-side comparison.

Smarty Pants

Similar to Hiya, Smarty Pants kids gummy multivitamin contains 15 essential nutrients. They also have added omega-3s. While they are considered organic, they include 5 grams of sugar per serving. For your child to meet his or her daily needs, they’ll have to consume four gummies per day. In my opinion, this can lead to them becoming more of a candy than a vitamin. However, they are a cheaper option and cost around $20 per month.

Pricing On Hiya's Website

Hiya Multivitamins can be purchased and delivered to your door for $1 per day directly from their website: www.hiyahealth.com. Currently, they are not available at amazon or Wal-Mart. Each bottle contains 30 chewable tablets. Fortunately, for us mommas with more than one child, Hiya offers discounts if you purchase more than one bottle.

Each month after that, you’ll receive a recyclable, non-plastic refill pouch to replenish your glass bottle. Your subscription will auto-renew every 30-days on a pediatrician-approved schedule.

You may cancel your order at any time. Hiya strives for complete customer satisfaction and offers a refund on all orders with no return required.

Lastly, if it's your first time shopping with hiya, you can get a 50% discount on your first order!

Who is Hiya?

Hiya was founded by two new dads, Darren Litt and Adam Gillman, who were shocked when they realized most children’s vitamins on the market today are filled with sugar, artificial ingredients, and additives that can cause more harm than good.

After realizing there were no options available that weren’t essentially glorified candy, they decided to develop a better solution.

Over three years, the duo partnered with pediatricians, scientists, and nutrition experts around the globe to manufacture a tasty, chewable multivitamin made completely with organic fruits and vegetables.

Hiya multivitamins are manufactured in a cGMP (Certified Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant USA-based facility with globally sourced ingredients individually selected for maximum absorption.

Their vitamins are also third-party to ensure they are free of heavy metals, pathogens, and allergens.

Hiya's vitamins are in tablet form because many pediatricians advise against gummy vitamins for children because they can get stuck in your child’s teeth and cause cavities. They can also be tempting for a child to get into and overeat, increasing the risk of toxicity.

What’s neat about Hiya vitamins is the fact that, since it’s a subscription-based service, you’ll continuously be getting fresh vitamins each month. Many vitamins sold in stores sit on the shelves for months, causing quality to decline over time.

Pros

  • Third-party tested
  • Free of major allergens
  • Many positive reviews
  • Made with organic fruits and vegetables
  • Free of added sugar
  • Optimized for freshness
  • Reusable bottle, no plastic

Cons

  • Auto-subscription required
  • Pricier than other brands on the market

Are Hiya Health Vitamins for Kids FDA Approved?

No, the FDA does not have the authority to review dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness before being sold to consumers. However, Hiya uses organic, clean ingredients that are  third party tested to give you peace of mind when choosing Hiya vitamins for your children.

What Age Are Hiya Vitamins For?

Hiya Health Kids Daily Multivitamins are formulated for boys and girls between the ages of two through mid-teens. For safety measures, Hiya recommends close parent supervision for kids under the age of three or until they can properly chew.

Is Hiya Worth the Extra Cost?

I say yes, mostly because it’s a product that I feel really good about giving to my children. I believe Hiya is integral with its transparency and labeling, meaning, I think that the vitamins contain what they say they contain.

I also think Hiya is worth it because the convenience of having your children’s vitamins delivered on auto-pilot ensures that they’re taking them consistently. I never kept up with a multivitamin routine prior to Hiya, and if I did, I was always grabbing the vitamins that happened to be on sale, so who knows if I was doing more harm than good.

If you try Hiya for your kiddos, be sure to come back and let us know what you think! I think there’s a lot of value in hearing testimonials from multiple parents so we can get the best picture of the product and make the most informed decisions!

My kids are picky eaters. Can you relate?

I’m sure most parents can, but it doesn’t take away how hard it is to get our kiddos the right vitamins and nutrients in their daily diet. I’ve found over the years that going with a kids vitamin can be a great way to fill those nutritional gaps.

My son is 7, about to turn 8, and my daughter is 5. We went through a lot of different children’s vitamin brands over the past few years. From the traditional flintstones that you buy off the shelves to First Day and Hiya, and now Renzo (plus a few others as well).

We gave Renzo a shot after hearing some of my mom friends talk about their positive experience with it. My kids also use hiya for the last 3 years, off and on, since they launched their kids multivitamin. They’ve since become the gold standard of multivitamins for kids.

Since both of my children used Hiya and Renzo, I wanted to compare and contrast them. I’ll talk about our experience with both, provide ratings across a few criterias, and I’ll share my kids’ opinions on which kids' vitamins they liked better: Renzo or Hiya? Stick around and find out!

All About Hiya Kids Vitamins

Hiya Health was created a few years ago and they were one of the first direct-to-consumer brands that sold kids vitamins. They only had one product back then, which was their kids' vitamin chewable. I think they solved a problem for parents, to provide a subscription-based kids multivitamin service that filled nutritional gaps and had zero sugar.

My Kids’ Experience With Hiya

hiya kids vitmains

We have a very large sample size to help you get an idea of how hiya kids vitamins has worked for our kids. Our kids have been taking hiya for 3 years now. I will say it’s been off and on, this is because we try out different brands. Just like anything in life, taking the same supplements every single day gets old too, especially for kids. Our kids like variety and they like a change-up. And personally as a dad, I don’t think there’s anything wrong going from a zero-sugar chewable tablet to a 2g of sugar gummy vitamin every now and again.

My daughter who is 5 years old has always liked the taste of hiya kids vitamins. The texture can be compared to a sweet tart, but obviously not sugary. She thinks it’s like a treat every morning, which can be due to the natural fruit flavors that are in the formula. She has never not taken the hiya chewable tablet when I have put it on the counter after breakfast. There are also times where I forget and she doesn’t, and she’s quick to remind me that she didn’t take her hiya multivitamin yet - that should say a lot.

My son who is almost 8 years old has also liked hiya vitamins since day one. He was 5 when he first tried them and loved them more when he was 5 than now that he’s almost 8. As time went on, he had more interest in gummy vitamins. However, he’ll still chew up the hiya chewable every single time I put it in front of him. Also, just because my son wants a gummy vitamin doesn’t mean I’m going to go completely away from hiya. I like how there’s no added sugar and you can’t get that in a gummy vitamin. Whether he likes it or not, that’s our parenting decision. But it’s one of the reasons why we try different vitamins for kids.

Use hiya coupon code FITHEALTHY

What We Like

  • As parents, we love how there’s no added sugar
  • Our kids enjoy chewing the vitamin - they like the taste and texture
  • We’ve never had a problem with either kid taking the vitamin, and they are picky eaters
  • We like how hiya came out with a probiotic and a nighttime sleep aid - they both come in handy for us
  • Our kids like the glass bottle and stickers to decorate their bottle

What We Don’t Like

  • $30 per month for one kid could be out of budget for a lot of parents, but the 50% off discount ($15) makes it affordable to try out
  • Bibendum ispum dolor elitis
  • Sapines ad labore duius nunc

All About Renzo's Kids Vitamins

Renzo’s Vitamins have recently come up on our radar after seeing them around on social media and our circle of parent friends. They have a few different vitamin options to choose from and they all come in the same form as Hiya - rounded chewables. Renzo vitamins also have no added sugar, which made it a great fit for us.

Important Facts

  • Renzo offers a few different kids multivitamins (see types of vitamins below for the full list)
  • The price of the Picky Eater Multi is $25.99, about $4 cheaper than Hiya, but then again, Hiya has a much lower initial starting price at $15
  • The Picky Eater Multi includes iron in the formula
  • There is no sugar in these vitamins, which is great for us
  • There is free shipping on all U.S. orders
  • You can purchase Renzo vitamins at amazon

The types of vitamins for kids that Renzo offers are:

  • Picky Eater Multi ($25.99) - this is the one we chose
  • Iron Strong ($19.99)
  • Dynamite D3 ($16.99)
  • Bright & Brainy B6 ($15.99)
  • Invincible Vitamin C ($18.99)
  • Hercules Calcium ($19.99)

My Kids’ Experience With Renzo's Picky Eater Multi

renzo's picky eater kids vitamins

We decided to purchase the Picky Eater Multi because our kids are picky eaters and we wanted the regular kids multivitamins. If it worked out better than Hiya, we would be saving a few bucks in the long run. Nonetheless, my kids and I were excited to give them a run for 30 days.

The one thing that was different right from the start was the serving sizes. For the Renzo’s Picky Eater Multi, the supplement facts say to take 2 tablets if you’re 4 years of age and older. That applies to both of my kids, so instead of taking 1 hiya vitamin, we needed to take 2 Renzo’s per day.

My daughter thought the taste was pretty good. The flavor we chose is called Lil’ Green Apple. She didn’t love the taste, but she did take them everyday without complaining about it. She definitely didn’t praise the taste either. Overall I think she had a good experience with it. My experience was fine as well. I would like to see the serving size to just be one tablet, but that’s what it is.

My son had a similar opinion as my daughter did for the taste of Renzo’s Picky Eater Multi. As I watched him chew them each morning, he seemed like he was tolerating them. Regardless, we didn’t waste our money and both kids finished each of their bottles.

What We Like

  • The price is lower than Hiya’s vitamins
  • We like how there is zero sugar
  • My kids liked the texture of the vitamins, similar to Hiya’s

What We Don’t Like

  • We don’t like how there are 2 tablets per serving
  • The flavor is good, but my kids didn’t love it
  • Having Iron in the formula can be a good thing or bad thing, we don’t really need extra iron, so this was a con for us
  • The tablets smell weird

Comparing Renzo vs Hiya

hiya chewable and renzo's chewable

In this next section, I’m going to compare Renzo and Hiya across a few different criteria and provide a rating number that I asked my kids!

Taste and Texture

Both of my kids love the chewable tablet texture that both Hiya and Renzo offer. The main difference here is the taste. My kids preferred Hiya’s taste over Renzo. They also told me that they would rather take just one vitamin instead of two.

Hiya Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.7/5

My Son’s Rating: 4.5/5

Renzo Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.4/5

My Son’s Rating: 4/5

Formulas

Hiya’s formula consists of 15 essential vitamins and minerals, as well as a blend of 12 fruits and veggies. Renzo’s Picky Eater Multi’s formula consists of 18 vitamins and minerals and iron. While Renzo has a little more in their formula, we liked Hiya’s simplicity and no iron in their formula. That said, both formulas are great and you will just have to decide what’s best for your kiddos.

Hiya Formula Rating

Renzo Formula rating

4.5/5

Results

Results are hard to measure when it comes to a multivitamin. Both of my kids seem to be more healthy when they do take a multivitamin as opposed to when they don’t. While I can’t pinpoint if they are healthier when they take Hiya vs Renzo, I know that either choice would be better than nothing.

Hiya Results Rating

Pricing and Value

Hiya vitamins are priced at $30 per month and you can get started with a 50% discount, which brings the price down to $15. Renzo vitamins are priced at $25.99 for a one-time purchase. They also have a subscribe and save option at $22.09 per month.

I like how Hiya has discounts when you purchase more than one bottle. For our family, we have two kids so the costs of these vitamins add up.

In my opinion, both Hiya and Renzo offer excellent value. For my kids though, they would prefer to consistently take Hiya over Renzo. They also really like the refillable glass bottle and stickers to decorate it, and I think that’s what will tip the scales for Hiya having a little bit more value than Renzo.

Which Kids Vitamins Did My Kiddos Like Better - Renzo or Hiya?

hiya and renzo kids vitamins together

My daughter prefers Hiya because she loves the taste and texture a tad bit more than Renzo’s vitamins.

My son prefers Hiya over Renzo because he only has to take one vitamin as opposed to two every day. For more context here, my son would prefer a gummy vitamin over the chewable tablets. I think as he aged he didn’t like the chewables as much.

While both of my kiddos finished the whole bottle of Renzo Picky Eater Multi, the taste just didn’t do it for them. Overall, both of my kids preferred Hiya.

It’s a constant fight with our kids each day, attempting to get them to eat their fruits and veggies at every meal. It can also be such a battle to try and get them to take their vitamins each day. On a search to find a great vitamin brand that would meet nutritional requirements while also motivating our kids to take a daily supplement, I came across the brands Hiya and Mary Ruth’s.

Let’s look at what Hiya and Mary Ruth’s have to offer in the way of children’s vitamins. I’m about to break down what products they offer, what I like, what I don’t like and how both brands compare.

All About Hiya Kids Vitamins

hiya kids vitamins

Hiya has created a kids multivitamin supplement that is made using 15 different essential vitamins and minerals. Chosen specifically for their ability to support a healthy immune response and facilitate growth and development, Hiya Kids Vitamins have a pleasant consistency and a flavor that our kids love.

Our children are five and almost eight. Since they’re still pretty young, it’s easy to get them interested in taking a daily multivitamin if they’re involved in the process in some way. They each have their own Hiya bottle, which comes with stickers that they can use to decorate and customize. This simple feature has made it convenient to give our kids their vitamins. They grab their own bottle each morning and bring it to us so they can take their dose.

Read our experience and review of hiya vitamins to learn more, or compare hiya vs first day, another popular kids multivitamin brand!

Important Facts

  • Hiya Kids Vitamins are made using essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins A, C, D, E, folate and B12, along with zinc.
  • I love that Hiya has also added a fruit and vegetable blend to this product. Our kids are getting nutrient-rich products like apples, beets, blueberries, carrots, cabbage and more, in every dose. They would never be eating these foods every day otherwise.
  • The Hiya vitamin bottle you receive is reusable. This cuts back on waste. Your refill orders just get poured directly into your existing bottle.
  • Hiya provides a discount when you’re purchasing their Kids Multivitamin for multiple children. Each child gets their own decorative bottle.

My Kids’ Experience With Hiya

Like I mentioned, our kids love that they each have their own Hiya bottle that they were allowed to decorate however they wish. This was part of the process of showing them their new multivitamins and talking to them about the expectation of taking them daily. It became a family activity to get everything set up, which I really think helped with the process.

Our routine includes coming down to the kitchen first thing in the morning. I start to make breakfast, and the kids grab their vitamin bottles so we can give them their tablets. They seem to really like the flavor, and it doesn’t seem like Hiya vitamins have that unpleasant gritty texture that so many products have.

We really like the immune boost that these vitamins have provided to our kids. Kids at school are always sick, but we’ve managed to avoid a lot of illnesses so far. Energy levels also seem to be impacted. Our kids don’t seem to sleep in quite so late and have more energy throughout the day.

What We Like

  • The customizable bottle is a big selling point.
  • This product from Hiya contains all the most important vitamins and minerals that kids need during their developmental years.
  • We save money by purchasing products for two children at a time.
  • Hiya’s fruit and vegetable blend is a great selling point.

What We Don’t Like

  • We would be interested in trying out the Hiya Daily Multivitamin with Probiotic, but the price doubles for that product.
  • Hiya mega-doses with some of their ingredients.

All About Mary Ruth's Kids Multivitamin Gummies

mary ruths kids vitamins

The Mary Ruth’s brand has a Kids Multivitamin Gummies product that includes a blend of vitamins and minerals that are ideal for toddlers and small children. This nutritional profile includes vitamin A for normal growth and development, vitamin C for an immune boost and brain development and vitamin D3 to help build healthy and strong bones and teeth. There is also a B-complex blend in this product that helps with nervous system regulation, energy and metabolism.

The Mary Ruth’s brand is one that we trust in our home. We’ve tried a number of their products. Created by a certified health educator, nutritional consultant and chef, the quality of these vitamins and other products is impressive.

Important Facts

  • You can feel confident with your purchase of Mary Ruth’s kids multivitamins, since the brand offers a 90-day money-back guarantee.
  • This product isn’t super sweet, as it’s flavored with strawberry and papaya.
  • Vegan-friendly.
  • You receive a two-month supply with your purchase, which cuts back on ordering frequency.
  • Sweetened with stevia.

My Kids’ Experience With Mary Ruth's Kids Multivitamin Gummies

When we initially introduced Mary Ruth’s Kids Multivitamin Gummies to our kids, they were happy to try them. Gummies tend to be really easy to give our kids, and they liked the flavor of this product. However, they seemed to get bored with it quickly. They weren’t as interested in grabbing the bottle and eating their daily gummy after a few weeks went by. Plus, we don’t love giving our kids gummy supplements every day. They can get stuck in their teeth, and we have to be really diligent about making sure we brush shortly after.

What We Like

  • This product is sugar-free, so it’s not like those other sugar-covered gummies.
  • Our kids liked the flavor.
  • There are roughly one dozen essential nutrients in each dose.

What We Don’t Like

  • The gummy consistency seems to be boring for our kids.
  • We’d like to see more of a diverse nutritional profile.
  • Some of the ingredients include very high doses.

Comparing Mary Ruth's vs. Hiya Kids Vitamins

hiya chewables and mary ruths gummies

Taste and Texture

Hiya Kids Vitamins are chewable tablets, whereas Mary Ruth’s has made a gummy multivitamin for kids. Consider which product you think will work better for your household, but we prefer Hiya for our kids.

Hiya Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.7/5

My daughter likes that the consistency of Hiya vitamins is very smooth and not at all gritty. She says they have a fruity taste to them.

My Son’s Rating: 4.5/5

My son is a bit more picky than my daughter, but he also likes these tablets.

Mary Ruth's Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.5

My daughter is a little more texture-oriented, and she wasn’t a big fan of the gummy opion.

My Son’s Rating: 4.6

Our son loves his fruit snacks, so he was happy to take Mary Ruth’s gummies.

Formulas

Hiya Formula Rating 4.8/5

When you’re selecting a multivitamin for children, you want to make sure that a brand has everything that’s needed for growth and development. I feel like Hiya has the better formula in this regard.

Mary Ruth's Formula Rating 4.2/5

Mary Ruth’s is lacking just a little bit compared to Hiya. Also, the dosing of certain nutrients is very high, while others are low.

Results

It’s important to see some sort of beneficial trend occurring when you’re giving your child a supplement. I think both of these products can provide benefits, depending on what you’re looking to achieve.

Hiya Results Rating 5/5

Our kids were more energetic and experienced fewer illnesses when they were taking Hiya Kids Daily Essential.

Mary Ruth's Results Rating

We did see a bit of a shift in energy when our kids were using Mary Ruth’s Kids Multivitamin Gummies. The immune difference wasn’t as noticeable, unfortunately.

Pricing and Value

Hiya Value Rating 4.8/5

A product that you’re purchasing every month can add up very quickly. I love that Hiya offers a discount for each additional child that you’re buying for. Otherwise, one child’s supply costs $30, or $15 for your first order.

Mary Ruth's Value Rating 4/5

I think that Mary Ruth’s is slightly overpriced, especially considering that you can get something more affordable that has a better nutritional profile. The cost of a two-month supply is $32.95.

Which Toddler Vitamins Did My Kiddos Like Better: Mary Ruth's or Hiya?

Our kids preferred Hiya Kids Daily Multivitamin. It was easy to get them to take it daily; they love being in charge of their own bottle, and the discount for multiple children is something we love as parents.

My Recommendation

You may want to speak with your family’s trusted pediatrician to find out if there are any specific nutrients that your child should be supplementing with. Otherwise, look for a product that contains all of the essentials. In this case, Hiya does a great job at including everything that is needed for optimal growth, development and immune support.

Trying to get kids to take a daily multivitamin can be quite the chore, especially if you’re using a product that’s less than palatable. We’ve gone through a number of brands over the years, with our kids finding some more favorable than others.

In the delicate balance of trying to find something your kids will take but that is also really good for them, I want to introduce you to two products: Hiya Kids Daily Essential Multivitamin and Llama Naturals Organic Kids Multivitamin. Which one did my kids prefer? Read on to find out.

Key Factors To Know Before Buying Hiya or Llama Naturals Kids Vitamins

Llama Kids Vitamins

All About Hiya Kids Vitamins

hiya vitamins

Hiya Kids Vitamins are made using 15 essential vitamins and minerals that have been carefully selected to support immune function, growth and development when children are young. This is a chewable product that our kids say tastes really good. They don’t complain that it has that gritty consistency and chalky flavor that other products have.

Not only do our kids like the flavor of this product, but they’re also fans of its packaging. Your first purchase of Hiya Kids Vitamins comes with a reusable bottle that they can decorate and customize. Each of our kids has their own, preventing them from having to share the same bottle.

Important Facts

  • Hiya contains all of the essentials, like vitamins A, C, D, E, folate, B12 and zinc.
  • A fruit and vegetable blend has also been added, incorporating ingredients like apple, beet, blueberry, carrot, cabbage and more.
  • Future orders come with refill packs that get added to your child’s bottle.
  • You can purchase Hiya based on the number of children that you have. This saves you some money.

My Kids’ Experience With Hiya

When we first opened our package from Hiya, my kids immediately grabbed the bottles and stickers that were inside. We explained that they would each get a bottle that they were allowed to decorate. We filled up their bottles, placed them on the kitchen counter, and vitamin-taking became part of the kid’s morning routine.

It’s usually pretty easy to get our kids to take their Hiya vitamins. They eat them with breakfast, as long as we remember. There have only been a few times that they didn’t want to take them, but I think their pleasant flavor is almost like a treat in the early morning hours.

We’ve seen a bit of a shift in our kids’ behaviors and health after taking Hiya for a little while now. For example, they are more energetic even when they get home from a full day of school. We’ve had fewer illnesses spread through the home as well.

What We Like

  • The customizable bottle got our kids involved with the process of taking daily vitamins.
  • You receive discounts based on the number of kids that you’re buying for.
  • This product contains all of the essential vitamins and minerals that kids need to thrive.
  • The added fruit and vegetable blend is great!
  • Hiya is helping reduce the amount of waste that we are generating.

What We Don’t Like

  • Selecting the Hiya supplement that also contains a probiotic will double the price.
  • Many of the vitamin and mineral doses are above the daily recommended value.

All About Llama Naturals Kids Vitamins

llama naturals kids vitamins

Another great product that we’ve used off and on with our kids is Llama Naturals Plant-Based Multivitamin. Made with 13 different plant-based essential nutrients, you get the added benefits of natural sourcing that positively impact absorption. Even better, there’s no added sugar in this product, but our kids still think it tastes good.

Unfortunately, this product doesn’t come with customizable jars, but our kids don’t mind too much. They love the simple strawberry flavor, which is completely natural. As parents, we love that the Llama brand pays close attention to what they’re putting into their products.

Important Facts

  • The majority of the nutrients listed are included at or below the recommended daily value.
  • This product contains vitamins that are plant-sourced.
  • All of the important essentials are included, such as vitamins A, C, D, E, K and B6.
  • Llama Naturals is free from all major allergens.

My Kids’ Experience With Llama Naturals

In our home, we switch multivitamins around every so often. We feel like this is a good way to ensure that our kids are getting a versatile amount of nutrients from different sources. Llama Naturals Plant-Based Multivitamin is a great product that our kids love taking. It’s gummy-based, which is a little different than Hiya’s product. There was no issue with giving our kids their gummies first thing in the morning, and we like that it seems to have boosted their immune systems. In a home where germs thrive when school is in session, immune support is a big bonus for us parents.

What We Like

  • Our kids love the natural strawberry flavor, and we love that there’s no added sugar cane in this product.
  • All of the vitamins in Llama Naturals are plant-based.
  • There is a no-risk, money-back guarantee offered.
  • This is a pretty affordable product, priced at $26.95 for a one-month supply.

What We Don’t Like

  • You don’t receive a discount when you purchase for multiple children.
  • The fact that this is a gummy gives our kids the impression they’re eating candy. This can be both good and bad.

Comparing Llama Naturals vs. Hiya

Taste and Texture

Hiya Taste Rating:

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.7/5

My Son’s Rating: 4.5/5

Hiya is a chewable vitamin, but our kids both think it tastes pretty good. I think they both prefer gummy-based supplements, but we still don’t ever experience a problem with them taking Hiya.

Llama Naturals Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.8/5

My Son’s Rating: 4.7/5

The gummy multivitamin wins out this time. We don’t mind seeing as how there’s no added cane sugar in this multivitamin.

Formulas

Hiya Formula Rating: 4.8/5

Hiya has a slightly more versatile formula, with 15 different essential vitamins and minerals included. Plus, their fruit and veggie blend that’s included is a major selling point.

Llama Naturals Formula rating: 4.5/5

There are 13 essential vitamins in this product from Llama Naturals, so it’s not far off from what Hiya offers. There are some natural ingredients included, but there isn’t any kind of fruit or vegetable blend added to the formula.

Results

Hiya Results Rating: 4.8/5

There was a noticeable shift in our kids’ energy levels when they were taking Hiya’s multivitamin regularly. Also, they seemed to be sick less often. All around, we were happy they were getting more nutrients as part of their diets, especially when they weren’t eating great on any given day.

Llama Naturals Results Rating: 4.6/5

The Llama Naturals multivitamin may have provided a bit of an increase in energy, but the main difference we saw is with their immune response. They were sick less often, and when they were sick, the illness didn’t seem to last nearly as long. That lingering cough that often comes late in an illness wasn’t an issue anymore.

Pricing and Value

Hiya Value Rating: 4.9/5

The cost of Hiya Kids Daily Multivitamin is $30 per month, or $15 for your first order. It’s $28 for two kids, $25 for three kids, and the discount goes on. I like that Hiya provides a discount when you’re shopping for multiple children. Plus, each child gets their own bottle of product. If you let your kids grab their vitamins on their own, it’s nice that their fingers are only going into their own bottle. There are a couple of additional vitamins in this product as well.

Llama Naturals Value Rating: 4.2/5

Llama Naturals currently costs $26.95 for one bottle of product through a one-time purchase. Their product contains 13 essential vitamins, so the value is a little lower when you take into account that the price of both products is pretty similar.

Which Kids Vitamins Did My Kiddos Like Better: Llama Naturals or Hiya?

While my kids liked both of these products, they seem to like the overall concept of Hiya’s products better. They like their own individual bottles that they can decorate however they want. As parents, we also favor this product slightly because of the higher nutrient content.

That being said, Llama Naturals also provides a very high-quality kids multivitamin supplement that should be strongly taken into consideration.

My Recommendation

If you’re not sure what multivitamin supplement would be best for your children, it’s always a good idea to speak with your pediatrician to see what they think. Also, look into the reputability of a brand to see if they’re sourcing their ingredients from natural and high-quality items.

Both Hiya and Llama Naturals offer a very good multivitamin option for kids. I would recommend either of these products, as they’ve both worked in our home.

popular

Choose Hiya if…

  • You are looking for a formula with the most vitamins and minerals.
  • Your kids will enjoy the personalized bottle concept.
  • You are purchasing for multiple children and want to take advantage of a discount.
  • The fruit and vegetable blend is something you want included in your child’s multivitamin.

Choose Llama Naturals if…

  • You want a gummy-based product.
  • Your children don’t need mega doses of vitamins.
  • You want a naturally sweetened product that doesn’t contain any sugar cane.

As a parent, I understand how important it is for my kids to receive all of the vitamins and minerals needed in order to grow and develop properly. While we eat healthy in our home, there are days when our kids don’t eat well or they’re not interested in what’s made for them. It’s important that we let our kids guide their dietary journey, so I began my search for a good multivitamin brand for kids.

I’ve come across a number of great options, but in this article we’re going to look at Hiya Kids Vitamins versus Olly. Which brand provides better quality, which did my kids like more and which one is a parent favorite? Let’s get started.

Key Decision-Making Factors Before Buying Olly or Hiya Kids Vitamins

Most popular

Hiya

  • Finding a sugar-free multivitamin option for our kids was important, which is why we turned to Hiya.
  • Gummy vitamins and chewy products can get stuck in a child’s teeth, resulting in cavities and decay. Hiya is a chewable tablet that prevents a lot of those issues.
  • Hiya contains 15 different vitamins and minerals, including a fruit and vegetable blend.

$30

Olly

  • Olly sells a kids multivitamin with probiotics included, which helps regulate digestion and boost the immune response.
  • Olly is transitioning this product away from its previous sugar-coated variety. At this point in the process, you don’t know which one you’re going to get.
  • Essentials like vitamins A, C, D, E, B vitamins and zinc are included in each dose of Olly Kids Multi + Probiotic.

Overview of Hiya Kids Vitamins

Packed with 15 essential vitamins and minerals like vitamins A, C, D, E, folate, B12, calcium, iodine and zinc, Hiya Kids Vitamin is a daily supplement that can be used to support health development and growth. It also supports a healthy immune response. It's a great kids multivitamin for 2 year olds and over. We noticed fewer colds in our house while our kids were taking this supplement.

Hiya is a bit unique in that each child in your household receives their own bottle of product. There are also stickers included with the bottle that can be used for decoration. This gives your child the opportunity to participate in the process of using a multivitamin. When you receive future product, it’s in a refill pouch that you simply pour into the original bottle.

hiya kids chewable vitamins

Important Facts

  • You save money by purchasing Hiya for multiple children.
  • Hiya also sells a multivitamin with probiotics, but the price difference is pretty significant.
  • This is a zero-sugar multivitamin option.
  • No gummies means your kids will be able to maintain better oral health.

My Kids’ Experience With Hiya

While we give our kids vitamins all year-round, we feel that it’s more of a necessity when school is in session. There are more germs going around, our kids are more tired and we never really know how well they’re eating their lunches at school. That little added nutritional burst is something we feel good that our kids are getting.

Hiya was easy to introduce to our kids. They liked the taste; the fun bottles were something they immediately wanted to decorate, and they didn’t show any signs of the product making them uncomfortable or unwell. In fact, they appeared more energetic and stayed healthier throughout cold and flu season.

Pros

  • Individual bottles help us keep better track of who has taken their vitamin each day.
  • Our kids loved decorating their bottles.
  • All of the essential vitamins and minerals needed for growth and development are in this product.
  • It’s really affordable, especially if you don’t want the added probiotic.

Cons

  • We would have thought about upgrading to the multivitamin with probiotics, but the price point was double the original cost.

Overview of Olly

Olly is a well-known supplement brand that sells products for both kids and adults. We had our kids try their Kids Multi + Probiotic. It has all the essentials, like vitamins A, C, D, E, B vitamins and zinc, along with 250 million CFUs of probiotics. Designed to help support growth and development while boosting digestion, Olly Kids Multi + Probiotic is yum berry punch-flavored and in gummy form.

olly kids gummy vitamins

Important Facts

  • There isn’t a ton of sugar in this product, but there’s more in each dose than in Hiya’s product.
  • Olly has included all of the essentials that kids need to thrive, including vitamins A, C, D, E, B vitamins, folate and zinc.
  • Kids two and up can use this product. Children over four have to double the dose.

My Kids’ Experience With Olly

We tried Olly Kids Multi + Probiotic after seeing it at a store we were shopping at. It’s convenient to be able to purchase products that you can find locally, but this can sometimes prevent you from getting the best quality possible. Plus, this was an affordable multivitamin, so we didn’t think it was a big deal to try it out with our kids.

Our kids liked the flavor of the gummies. They both had to take two gummies per dose because they were over the age of four. That equates to a few grams of sugar in each dose, which we didn’t love. Plus, we try to be extra careful when brushing their teeth after eating gummy supplements. Some of these products can put kids at a higher risk of developing cavities.

We noticed a little bit of a digestive shift after a week or two of our kids taking this supplement. Our youngest seemed to be a little gassy upon adjusting to the product. Other than that, there wasn’t much of a difference in their energy levels or immune responses.

Pros

  • Our kids liked the flavor.
  • The probiotics not only support a healthy digestive process but also help with immune function.
  • This product includes all of the essential vitamins and minerals that kids need.
  • Olly products are found online and in many retail stores.
  • This is an affordable vitamin option for kids.

Cons

  • Kids four and up have to take two gummies per dose.
  • Because Olly is transitioning away from sugar-coated products, the website says you may or may not receive the new version. I personally want to know what we’re buying.

Comparing Olly's vs. Hiya Kids Vitamins

olly's gummies and hiya's chewables

Taste and Texture

Hiya Taste Rating

  • My Daughter’s Rating: 4.7/5
  • My daughter especially liked the flavor and texture of Hiya’s vitamins. She still has no problem taking them.
  • My Son’s Rating: 4.5/5
  • Our son complains on occasion about taking his vitamins, but there really isn’t any kind of battle with getting him to do it. He says Hiya vitamins are fruity and tasty.

Olly's Taste Rating

  • My Daughter’s Rating: 4.1/5
  • My daughter doesn’t really like gummy supplements, so she actually wasn’t thrilled with Olly’s product.
  • My Son’s Rating: 4.4/5
  • My son’s sweet tooth wins for this product. He likes fruit snacks and gummy anything, so he was a fan of Olly.

Formulas

Hiya Formula Rating 4.8/5

I really like the formula that Hiya uses for their kids multivitamin. It contains all of the basic nutrients that kids need for growth and development. There’s nothing extra or unnecessary to worry about.

Olly's Formula Rating 4.3/5

While Olly contains a lot of the same nutrients that are in Hiya’s product, some of the nutrients are well below the daily recommended value. However, some of them are 100% of the recommended daily value.

Results

Hiya Results Rating 5/5

Hiya made a big difference in our kids’ overall health and wellbeing. We saw a noticeable difference in how they were acting energy-wise. They also seemed to stay healthier while taking their supplement.

Olly's Results Rating 4.5/5

Like I mentioned earlier, there was a bit of a shift in our kid’s digestive health while taking Olly. However, we didn’t notice much of a difference otherwise.

Pricing and Value

Hiya Value Rating 4.8/5

Not only are Hiya Kids Vitamins really affordable ($15 per child), but refills are automatically sent to your home each month.

Olly's Value Rating 4.3/5

Olly Kids Multi + Probiotic costs $13.99 for 70 gummies. Depending on the age and number of children you’re giving this to, this may or may not be affordable. Kids over the age of four need to take two gummies. Giving this to two or more kids means you go through a bottle quite quickly.

Which Toddler Vitamins Did My Kiddos Like Better: Olly or Hiya?

Our kids did a lot better with taking their Hiya vitamins compared to Olly’s multivitamin. In fact, this is a product that we still use in our home today. It’s a very small chewable tablet, and it’s become part of our routine each morning. For the first time in years, our kids are getting sick less. Whether that’s because of the vitamins, I don’t know, but I definitely don’t want to jinx anything!

My Recommendation

I would recommend trying Hiya vitamins if you’re in need of something that helps your kids get all of their essential nutrients each day. Even the best eaters usually have deficiencies to some degree. If you’d like to learn more, you can always talk to your pediatrician.

popular

Choose Hiya if...

  • You’re looking for a basic kid’s multivitamin that contains essentials and nothing else.
  • You want a chewable tablet supplement that doesn’t contain sugar.
  • The decorative bottle for each child will help get your kids motivated to take their vitamins.
  • You like the convenience of a supplement shipped right to your door each month.

Choose Olly if...

  • You find it challenging to give your kids vitamins and think the gummy version will help.
  • You want a product that’s easily found in stores.
  • You like the added probiotic.

Many of us remember chewing those character vitamins when we were younger. They tasted horrible, and they weren’t made with high-quality ingredients. Not to mention the various artificial colors and flavors that are used in their formula. Luckily, there are much better options available for kids these days.

If you feel like your child needs a little extra help to address picky eating, a poor immune response or nutritional deficiencies, read on to find out more about Hiya Kids Vitamins and Juice Plus. Hiya's a top-rated multivitamin for 2 year olds and up, while Juice Plus has been gaining popularity. I’ll tell you all about both options, including which one my kids liked more.

As always, be sure to talk to your pediatrician before your kids take a multivitamin. My #1 tip is to show the doctor the nutrition facts and the brand's website, then they will take it from there!

Key Decision-Making Factors Before Buying Juice Plus or Hiya Kids Vitamins

Hiya

Juice Plus

Hiya Kids Vitamins include essential vitamins and minerals, as well as a fruit and vegetable blend.

Juice Plus vitamins are gummy-based soft chews.

Each of your children gets their own bottle of Hiya vitamins, which they can customize with stickers.

There are 30 different fruits, vegetables and berries in each serving of Juice Plus chews.

Hiya Kids Vitamins are completely sugar-free.

This product is for both adults and children. Just be careful when dosing.

Overview of Hiya Kids Vitamins

hiya kids vitamins chewables

Hiya Kids Vitamins are created with 15 different essential vitamins and minerals, along with a fruit and vegetable blend. Some of the essentials included are vitamins A, C, D, E, folate and B12, along with zinc. This product is designed to fill in nutritional gaps while also building a strong immune response and supporting healthy growth and development.

The taste and texture of this product are very pleasant compared to other chewable vitamins on the market. Our five- and almost eight-year-old both love taking their dose first thing in the morning. This isn’t a gummy-based vitamin, so you don’t have to worry about your kids getting cavities from Hiya Vitamins.

Important Facts

  • Hiya is a sugar-free supplement.
  • There are 15 essential vitamins and minerals in each dose of Hiya.
  • You receive a discount for each additional child that you purchase a product for.
  • A refillable bottle cuts back on plastic waste.
  • Stickers are included, so your child can decorate their bottle however they want.

My Kids’ Experience With Hiya

The thing that I love most about Hiya Kids Vitamins is that kids are involved in the process of taking them. We’re not simply handing over a vitamin each day and expecting them to take it. Each of our kids has their own Hiya bottle that they’ve decorated. They know to bring us the bottle first thing in the morning so we can make sure they get their vitamin. Our kids think they taste great, and we’ve never had a problem getting them to take their daily dose.

Hiya has produced more results than any other vitamin brand that we’ve used for our kids. We have noticed a shift in their energy levels, especially on long days of school and activities. They’re not falling asleep in the car or on the couch early in the evening. Also, we’ve experienced a lot fewer illnesses in the home. For once, my kids are actually able to fight off the germs they’re encountering at school.

What We Like

  • There’s no sugar in this product.
  • All of the essentials that kids need to grow and thrive are included.
  • Our kids like the flavor of Hiya Kids Vitamins.
  • This is a very affordable product.

What We Don’t Like

  • While it’s nice that each child gets their own bottle, you have to store them both and make sure you use the right bottle for the right child.
  • Only a 30-day supply is available at a time.

Overview of Juice Plus

juice plus kids vitamins

Juice Plus chews are not just for kids; they’re also suitable for adults. There are three different products available. One is comprised of fruits; another is vegetables; and the last is berries. When combined, these chews provide you with essential vitamins, antioxidants and plant-based compounds. All of nature’s best is in this product, including broccoli, kale, purple grapes, berries, apples, oranges, blueberries and elderberries.

Important Facts

  • This is a great supplement option if your kids don’t like the consistency of chewable tablets.
  • This product is gluten-free and non-GMO.
  • Juice Plus products have been certified for quality and safety by the NSF.
  • There are other products available from Juice Plus, such as shakes and bars.

My Kids’ Experience With Juice Plus

The thing that I liked most about Juice Plus is that we could have a product in our household that everyone could use. We didn’t have to worry about different items all over the place. Plus, these chews are based on whole foods. The only thing I was concerned about going into this experience is that we were all going to have to consume a lot of chews to meet the daily dose requirements. Adults consume four of each chew variety, while kids get two.

We all liked the flavor of these chews. They were a little sweet, in my opinion, but the taste was pleasant. Our kids had to chew them for a bit before they could swallow them. It’s a little bit of an expensive product, priced at $82.50 per month. The adults in the household eventually grew tired of the product quantity, so we switched the kids over to Hiya.

What We Like

  • It’s nice to have one product that everyone in the household can use.
  • The taste of these chews is very pleasant.
  • You have access to more than 30 different fruits, vegetables and berries when you use this product.
  • Juice Plus is certified non-GMO.

What We Don’t Like

  • Your kids (and you) could potentially be consuming a lot of these chews each day. If you opt for the trio, a children’s dose is two of each chew variety.
  • There are a couple of grams of sugar in each dose of Juice Plus, but this comes from the ingredients, not added refined sugar.

Comparing Juice Plus's vs. Hiya Kids Vitamins

Taste and Texture

Hiya Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.7/5

My daughter really liked the flavor and texture of Hiya Kids Vitamins. She had no problem taking them when we first tried them, and she’s still good about taking her daily dose.

My Son’s Rating: 4.5/5

My son has days where he grumbles a bit in regard to taking his vitamin, but he does comment that he likes the fruity flavor.

Juice Plus's Taste Rating

My Daughter’s Rating: 4.5

My daughter says these taste like candy. I agree to a certain extent, which is something I didn’t love about Juice Plus.

My Son’s Rating: 4.6

My son loves anything that’s sweet and fruity, so he really likes Juice Plus chews. He did complain that they are a little chewy, and it can take him some time to get his chews down.

Formulas

Hiya Formula Rating: 4.6

Hiya is designed with kids in mind, so everything that’s included in this formula supports their development.

Juice Plus's Formula Rating: 4.7

There are a lot more nutrients included in a dose of Juice Plus, but I felt it was a little overboard for the kids. Our kids are good eaters for the most part, so we just needed something basic.

Results

Hiya Results Rating: 4.9

We love the results that Hiya provided. Our kids experienced more energy (but weren’t up at night) and seemed healthier overall. Less germs make mom and dad happy!

Juice Plus's Results Rating: 4.3

Our kids did seem to have more energy when they were taking this product, but there’s also quite a bit of sugar involved in taking Juice Plus. This is especially true if you’re using all three products. They may have simply been experiencing a “sugar high”. Otherwise, we didn’t see too much of a change in their growth or immune response.

Pricing and Value

Hiya Value Rating: 5/5

Not only is Hiya really affordable, but I love that there’s a discount available when you’re purchasing for multiple children.

Juice Plus's Value Rating: 4/5

Juice Plus is expensive, especially if everyone in your household is going to be using this product. You do get access to a lot of great ingredients, but we just didn’t need something like this in our home.

Which Toddler Vitamins Did My Kiddos Like Better: Juice Plus+ or Hiya?

Hiya is the clear winner when it comes to the opinion of my kids. They like the taste and texture; they don’t complain about taking it daily and they feel great. When we have happy and healthy kids, mom and dad are happy too.

My Recommendation

I recommend starting out with Hiya to see how it works for your children. It’s a pretty basic multivitamin supplement that contains all of the essentials that kids need to thrive. If you really feel like you have some picky eaters on your hands, you may want to switch over to Juice Plus for more nutrients.

Finding the right brand of vitamins for your kids can be tricky. It’s essential that a product has all the right nutrients in it. However, you want to skip all the bad stuff, like large amounts of sugar, unnecessary additives and artificial colors. To simplify the process of finding the children’s vitamin that is perfect for your family, I want to talk to you about Hiya vitamins. Let’s look at how this brand is different from some of the others out there, including what their products are made with, why they’re beneficial and what you can expect.

Eight Ways Hiya Vitamins Are Different Than Other Kids Vitamins

I’ve compiled a list of eight different ways that Hiya vitamins are different from other kids' vitamins. Let’s take a look.

1. Hiya Is Made With Fruits and Veggies, Which Differs From Gummy Junk

If you pick up a bottle of children’s vitamins off the drugstore shelf, you’ll probably see that the quality of its ingredients is lacking. The cheaper a product is, the lower the quality of the ingredients. When you make the investment in something like Hiya, you’ll find that the nutrients in its formula come from actual fruits and vegetables. For picky eaters who don’t eat their full five servings of fruits and veggies each day, this is an ideal option.

There are 15 different essential nutrients in each serving of Hiya chewable vitamins, without any gummy junk that is coated in sugar. Ingredients in the fruit and vegetable blend include apple, beet, blueberry, broccoli, carrot, green cabbage, strawberry and tomato, among others.

2. The Chewable Multivitamin Has Zero Sugar

Years of looking into healthy kids' vitamins led me to realize how much sugar is actually in a lot of these products. Not to mention those awful gummies that are coated in even more sugar. Hiya contains zero sugar. It still has a really great flavor, according to my kids, which comes from natural sweeteners like monk fruit and mannitol.

3. The First Month’s Trial Cost Is Affordable

If you’re on a tight budget, you might think that Hiya is a little overpriced. I’m here to tell you that the quality is well worth the investment. After all, this is your kid’s health we’re talking about. If it makes you feel better trying the product out before fully investing in a subscription, you’ll be happy to know that the first month is really affordable.

Hiya costs $15 for the first order. This includes a one-month supply of vitamins (for one child), along with the reusable bottle and stickers that it comes with. You receive a discount when you’re purchasing Hiya for multiple kids, so don’t be afraid to try it with all the little ones in your household!

4. Hiya Vitamins Are Ideal for Picky Eaters

My kids tend to be pretty good eaters for the most part, but there are meals here and there that they just don’t show a lot of interest in eating. When their schedules get busy, we, as parents, worry that they haven’t gotten enough nutrients throughout the day. Hiya is the perfect vitamin for picky eaters. Containing 15 of the essential nutrients that kids need in order to grow and develop properly, you’ll be able to sleep well at night knowing that your child isn’t deficient in anything.

Hiya contains vitamins A, C, D, E, thiamin, riboflavin, folate, B12, biotin, calcium, pantothenic acid, iodine, zinc, selenium and manganese. Don’t forget about the fruit and vegetable blend that is also included.

5. Manufactured in the USA

To even further drive home the fact that Hiya is a high-quality brand of kids' vitamins, you should know that their products are made in the U.S.A. You don’t have to worry about any possible product contamination or low-quality ingredients from other questionable sources. I like knowing where my supplements are coming from, especially when it’s something I’ll be giving to my kids on a daily basis.

6. Hiya Teaches Kids to Care for Our Lovely Environment

In your first shipment from Hiya, you’ll receive a package of vitamins, a reusable bottle and a sticker pack. The bottle can be decorated by your child as a way to get them involved with taking a daily multivitamin. However, this is also an important lesson regarding caring about our environment. Did you know that more than 40 million tons of municipal plastic waste are generated in the U.S. each year? Much of this ends up in landfills rather than being recycled. It’s never too early to teach your children the importance of reducing their carbon footprint. Their small Hiya vitamin bottle is just one way that they can have a positive impact on the environment in which they live.

7. Hiya Focuses on Kids Only

I’ve come across a lot of vitamin and supplement brands that are geared towards adults primarily, and they offer one or two children’s products. The problem with this is that it’s common for formulas to be tweaked ever so slightly in order to meet the daily recommended allowances for kids. There’s not much additional research conducted on the nutritional needs of children and what the best formula is for them.

Hiya takes children’s vitamins to the next level, focusing solely on kids and what they need to thrive. This is a kids-only brand that sells products such as:

Kids Daily Multivitamin

Kids Daily Probiotic

To be taken alone or with Hiya’s Kids Daily Multivitamin, this Kids Daily Probiotic contains 10 billion live cultures that can support childhood immunity, gut health and the proper absorption of nutrients. This is also a sugar-free supplement from Hiya.

Kids Bedtime Essentials

hiya kids bedtime

If you feel that your child would benefit from a supplement that helps promote a sense of calm and focus and also supports brain health, Hiya has a new product called Kids Bedtime Essentials. It contains ingredients like vitamin B6, choline, calcium, magnesium, L-theanine, GABA and chamomile.

This product also comes with a reusable container and stickers, so I would just make sure that you keep it separate from your child’s multivitamin or probiotic to prevent any confusion with taking it at the right time of day.

8. Hiya Is Currently Recommended by Dentists as the Better Vitamin

Dentists and other medical experts agree that a low-sugar multivitamin supplement is the way to go. So many products are now being made with loads of sugar, contributing to poor oral health and an increase in cavities. Rest assured, Hiya doesn’t contain any added sugar. It’s a chewable tablet that doesn’t get stuck in your kid’s teeth.

Not to mention, the low sugar content of this vitamin can prevent health problems such as obesity, mental health issues and more.

Conclusion

If you’re shopping for a multivitamin for your child and have been discouraged by the options that are out there, I encourage you to take a look at Hiya’s Kids Daily Multivitamin. This product contains all of the nutrients that your child needs for healthy growth and development, a strong immune response, etc.

It’s affordable, especially when you take into account its quality. The subscription will save you a bit of money, and you’ll save even more when you purchase for more than one child.

Don’t forget to check out Hiya’s other children’s supplements, such as their probiotic for gut health and their Bedtime Essentials.

Despite generally being healthy eaters, there are days when my kids experience stomach aches or general discomfort. Also, there are the constant germs that seem to flow in and out of this house when school is in session. Our family’s pediatrician recently spoke to us about the use of probiotics for both of our kids, who are eight and five. We were told that not only would a probiotic help with digestion, it would be a great way to support the body’s natural immune response.

I was given samples for a couple of different products, which I’d like to review here for you. Let’s take a look at Hiya Kids Probiotic and Culturelle’s products for kids. We’ll talk about their formulas, what to expect, why one is better than the other and more.

Key Factors To Know Before Buying Hiya Probiotics or Culturelle

All About Hiya Kids Probiotic

hiya kids probiotic on table

Hiya has a Kids Daily Probiotic supplement that is chewable, healthy and safe. It contains 10 billion live cultures in addition to prebiotic fiber that will help beneficial bacteria thrive in the gut. This product has been designed so that it can be properly absorbed, helping with digestion, immune function and healthy bowel movements.

Important Facts

  • Hiya Kids Probiotic comes in a fun glass bottle that can be decorated with the provided stickers. This gets your kids excited about taking their probiotics each day.
  • You can purchase this product according to how many kids you have. You unlock a discount when buying for multiple children.
  • A monthly subscription provides you with reduced-waste refill pouches for your glass bottles.
  • This is a really affordable prebiotic and probiotic product.

My Kids’ Experience With Hiya Kids Probiotic

the jar and tablets

When we first received our package of Hiya Kids Probiotics, my kids were excited to see the bottles and stickers. They were very willing to decorate their own bottles however they wanted. Once that was done, they were interested in finding out how the supplement tasted. We jumped right into the process, giving each child their first dose of Hiya Kids Probiotic.

This supplement is naturally sweetened without the use of any artificial ingredients. Both kids thought it tasted really good, with my oldest being a little more apprehensive. Our son is definitely the more opinionated of the two when it comes to different foods.

I was happy to see that taking Hiya daily didn’t cause any uncomfortable symptoms for our kids. There wasn’t any bloating or discomfort to worry about. After a couple of weeks, it seemed like they were experiencing more regularity. We have only experienced one or two mild colds go through the house since starting Hiya, so hopefully their probiotic intake has contributed to that.

What We Like

  • The refillable bottles cut down on plastic waste.
  • Our kids loved decorating their bottles.
  • Hiya doesn’t use any artificial ingredients that we don’t feel comfortable giving our children.
  • The price is affordable.

What We Don’t Like

  • We would like it if there were a few more strains of probiotic in this product.
  • You can cancel your subscription anytime, but you don’t really have any control over when the product is sent out. If you miss a few doses, you end up with some extra product.

All About Culturelle Kids Probiotic

culturelle kids daily probiotic

Culturelle has a few different probiotic products for children, but we opted for their Kids Purely Probiotics Chewables. We didn’t use this product at the same time as Hiya’s version. Rather, this was the first supplement that we tried before settling on Hiya.

Kids Purely Probiotics Chewables are designed for kids between the ages of 3 and 12, so both of our kids could use the same supplement. It’s designed to help you get your child’s digestion back on track, especially if they experience occasional GI issues. Unfortunately, Culturelle’s probiotic supplement only contains 5 billion CFUs in each dose, which is half the amount that is in Hiya. Its formula focuses on just Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG.

Important Facts

  • There are other kids probiotics available from Culturelle. Many of them contain additional ingredients, such as elderberry, zinc and vitamin D, for added immune support.
  • This product contains 5 billion CFUs in each dose.
  • There is only one strain of probiotic in this supplement from Culturelle.

My Kids’ Experience With Culturelle Kids Probiotic

This is the first probiotic product that we tried after speaking with the pediatrician. There was a lot less excitement with this product. It’s amazing how much impact a decorative bottle can make! That being said, our kids really liked the flavor of Hiya’s Kids Probiotic better.

Each dose of this product has to be removed from its individual packaging. This is to help keep everything fresh and potent, but it adds to the time it takes to hand out doses. With two kids, we’re looking for something that’s much faster.

We noticed that our children didn’t really complain of any GI issues when they first started taking Culturelle Kids Probiotic. That being said, we didn’t notice much of a difference in their gut health in general. It may have been helping, but there wasn’t any kind of significant difference. We attribute this to the fact that it’s not a very diverse probiotic supplement.

What We Like

  • This supplement is allergy-friendly, free of eggs, nuts, shellfish, etc.
  • These are chewable tablets that are pretty small. Our kids didn’t mind the taste.
  • There are different Culturelle probiotic supplements to choose from.
  • This product uses Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, which is scientifically proven to help gut health.

What We Don’t Like

  • Each dose is packaged for freshness and protection, but there’s a lot of plastic waste involved.
  • You have to take one chewable in the morning and one at night.

Comparing Culturelle vs. Hiya Probiotics

Taste and Texture

Taste is a big factor when you’re trying to give small children a daily supplement. Luckily, neither of these products posed an issue.

Hiya Taste Rating

  • My Daughter’s Rating: 5/5
  • My Son’s Rating: 4.5/5

Our children definitely liked the taste of Hiya’s probiotic better. As parents, we like that it is naturally sweetened and not full of added sugar.

Culturelle Taste Rating

  • My Daughter’s Rating: 4/5
  • My Son’s Rating: 4/5

Our kids reported that Culturelle’s chewable tablets also tasted pretty good, but they seemed to like Hiya’s product far better.

Formulas

These two products have different formulas, though each is designed to provide roughly the same benefits.

Hiya Formula Rating: 4.6/5

Hiya contains three different probiotic strains and one prebiotic ingredient. In addition to Lactobacillus rhamnosus, which is also featured in Culturelle’s product, Hiya has also added Lactobacillus paracasei and Bacillus lactis. Larch tree fiber is the prebiotic. The diversity of this product’s formula is nice, with more than one strain covering different health benefits.

Culturelle Formula Rating: 4/5

Culturelle Kids Purely Probiotics contain the scientifically studied strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG. Prebiotics have not been added.

Results

The purpose of giving our kids probiotics was to help boost their gut health and immune response. Did either of these products accomplish this task?

Hiya Results Rating: 4.5/5

I would have to give Hiya an excellent rating in regard to how effective it is. We still use it for our kids to this day, and they honestly don’t really experience any GI issues on a regular basis. We very rarely have a stomach bug go through the house, and stomach aches are few and far between.

Culturelle Results Rating: 3.5/5

I didn’t see a huge change in our children when they were trying this product. They didn’t necessarily complain of any discomfort, but I also can’t say that they seemed to be thriving all of a sudden after starting a daily dose.

Pricing and Value

When you have to buy daily supplements for multiple children, pricing and value are important.

Hiya Value Rating: 4.5/5

Hiya retails for $33 for two children. You save 50% on your first order. There are multiple strains of probiotics in each dose and 10 billion active live cultures. We like the clean formula and are willing to pay for it.

Culturelle Value Rating: 4/5

Culturelle Kids Purely Probiotic costs $18.89 for 30 doses. We had to purchase two of these each month. Seeing as Culturelle only includes one strain of probiotics in their supplement, I would have to give it a lower rating than Hiya. Hiya offers more and is more affordable, especially if you’re purchasing for multiple children.

Which Kids Probiotics Did My Kiddos Like Better - Culturelle or Hiya?

Our kids are definitely a bigger fan of Hiya’s probiotic product. It’s been really easy to get them to take this product daily. The flavor of the product is pleasant, and it’s nice that we aren’t giving them a high-in-sugar gummy each day. As parents, we like the results that Hiya has provided for both kids.

My Recommendation

popular

Choose Hiya if…

$15 $30

  • You want a probiotic that contains multiple strands of probiotics.
  • You want a higher CFU amount per dose.
  • You like the clean formula that this brand provides.
  • Your kids will like the decorative bottle.
  • You want to reduce your carbon footprint with a product that reduces waste.

Choose Culturelle if…

$18.89

  • Your child’s pediatrician has specifically recommended this product or the strain of probiotic that it contains.
  • You like that this product is available at major retailers.
  • Your child has occasional digestive upset.

Nurture Life is a kid’s meal delivery service that my family has used and loved over the last 2+ years. We order a box of Nurture Life during busy seasons as a treat for my kids (they both love the meals) and a way to take a little pressure off of my husband and me.

Every time I share Nurture Life meals on Instagram or TikTok, I get a lot of questions from my community, so I thought I would share a blog post dedicated to our experience with Nurture Life and that answers the most common questions I get in regards to the meals.

If you’re considering purchasing Nurture Life Kid’s Meals, my hope is that this article will help you decide if it’s a good fit for your family.

Why We Tried Nurture Life

nurture life kids meals

Back in early 2021, my family had just moved across the country, we had launched a brand new business, and we had two toddlers, ages 2 and 4. To say that we were busy would be an understatement.

It was around this time that I discovered Nurture Life. Meal delivery services were really big at the time but the concept of a kid-specific meal delivery service was totally new to me. As a mom who prioritizes health and balanced eating, but had two pretty picky kiddos, I was willing to try anything to get my kids to eat well and to save myself a lot of time and frustration around meal times.

Nurture Life had a great selection of kids’ meals that were high in protein, full of veggies, made with organic ingredients, and came delivered fresh. Browsing the menu, I saw multiple kid-friendly options that I felt like even my picky kids would enjoy. Plus, what kid doesn’t love a special, “just-for-them” meal?

More on Nurture Life:

Who These Meals Are For

Before I get into our experience with Nurture Life, I want to mention that Nurture Life serves kiddos from beginner eaters all the way to teens. In a way, I wish Nurture Life was an option for my family when my kids were babies as their finger foods are so convenient and a great way to introduce foods to littles that are health conscious, fresh, and not packed with preservatives.

I have a friend who used Nurture Life meals for her baby as soon as she was old enough to start eating finger foods and the experience of growing up, more or less, with Nurture Life meals has led my friend’s daughter to be a really solid eater. The best part is that she doesn’t seem to crave the junk foods that are filled with sugar and other additives and she happily eats most of the family dinners that my friend cooks!

Our First Order

Nurture Life is a subscription-based meal delivery service, but they’re really flexible, which I very much appreciate. They also offer multiple plan options to choose from, starting with a 6 item meal plan and going all the way to up to 10, 13, or 16 meals per week. We started small to test them out before committing to a large order.

I definitely had a little hesitation due to the price, which is roughly $6.75 per meal, however, the stress and pressure I was feeling to make healthy kid-friendly meals made making the financial commitment worth it.

I ordered 10 meals and they came about a week later. The meals were delivered to my doorstep in a temperature-controlled box. I live in FL, which unfortunately means that we often run into food products being melted or their integrity damaged due to the excessive heat. Thankfully, Nurture Life packages their meals really well, ensuring that they make it to your door fresh. I have never received a delivery that was even questionable from them!

The Meals My Kids Love

Below is a list of our go-to’s from Nurture Life:

  • Turkey Meatballs with Mashies & Green Beans
  • White Mac & Cheese with Hidden Cauli & Broccoli
  • Chicken Parm with Super Veggie Spaghetti
  • Cheeseburger Mac With Broccoli
  • Mac & Cheese with Hidden Butternut Squash
  • Beef Taco Pockets with Sweet Corn
  • Spaghetti & Meatballs with Super Veggie Sauce
  • Double Chocolate Mighty Bites

There are tons of options, but these are the ones that I find my kiddos love best. We have also tried the Super Food Smoothies, which include two full servings of fruits and veggies each. My kids don’t LOVE these, but I do! Haha. If you can get your kid(s) to drink these, you’re doing them a huge solid by getting them a ton of nutrition in one easy-peasy smoothie.

nurture life smoothies and mighty bites

How and When We Use Nurture Life Meals

Maybe you’re wondering why I am spending money on a kid’s meal delivery service when I’m a recipe creator and have a recipe app filled with healthy, family-friendly recipes. Let me explain.

First, I’ve discovered now that my kids are a little older and need to pack a lunch for school every day that Nurture Life meals make the perfect lunch box lunch! Talk about time-saving in the mornings! Instead of filling up a bunch of Bento box sections with foods that I hope they’ll actually eat, I just stick a Nurture Life meal in there with a couple of cold packs and send them off knowing that they’ll have a warm, hearty, balanced meal at lunchtime to give them energy for the second half of their day. All they need to do is warm their meal in the microwave for 60 seconds.

Second, since both of my kids are heavily involved in sports, there are many nights when cooking dinner and getting them out the door to sports practices or games just isn’t going to happen. Nurture Life meals come in clutch for the busy sports seasons when we need something quick and nourishing.

10 Things I Love About Nurture Life (As a Mom, Nutritionist, and Macro Coach)

  1. All meals are made with whole, natural foods and are organic. These meals are ones that you can 100% feel great about giving to your kiddos.
  2. They prioritize protein. You saw that one coming, right? If you’ve been following me for a while then you know that hitting your macros is something I preach, and it starts with teaching kids how to prioritize protein through healthy, nourishing meals.
  3. They come with hidden fruits and veggies. Getting my kids to eat their fruits and veggies is like pulling teeth, but when they don’t know they’re there, it’s like a secret mom win that I’ll never let them in on.
  4. They come fresh, not frozen.
  5. You can freeze them if you want or need to. Sometimes we don’t use the meals up in time, so I’ll stick them in the freezer to be pulled out in a bind.
  6. They’re perfect for lunch boxes.
  7. They don’t include “weird” foods. If your kids are like mine, anything other than chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, and hot dogs is “weird.” Nurture Life gets that it keeps them super kid-friendly.
  8. They save me so much time, and probably money when it comes down to it.
  9. I like the taste of them, too! Sometimes I warm one up and eat it for myself when I need a quick snack.
  10. They always come fresh and temperature-controlled. I’ve yet to receive a box that hasn’t maintained a safe temperature by the time it came to my door (I’ve had bad experiences with other meal delivery services.)

Are you planning to give Nutrure Life a try for your kids? Have you tried it before? Let me know! I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. I know it can be so helpful to hear experiences from more than just one family when it comes to things like this.

We all start out parenting with the best of intentions. We make audacious statements like “my kid will never eat fast food!” or “I’m going to make my own baby food!”. Veteran moms laughed and rolled their eyes, but we still swore we’d do things differently.

Then, a few months into things, we realized what we were up against: cooking multiple, fresh meals per day while trying to keep up with the responsibilities of caring for little ones, our homes, and our careers is downright exhausting.

Let’s not forget to mention those of us who were blessed with picky eaters. Sometimes you feel like you’re cooking a meal simply to scrape it all in the garbage. The bottom line is, you’re stressed, exhausted, and often defeated when it comes to mealtimes.

But the introduction of fresh kids meal delivery services has been saving parents everywhere, taking a load off their plates and their minds. Yumble and Nurture Life are two of the top kids meal subscription services available, delivering pre-portioned meals right to your door each and every week.

With meals made from scratch out of fresh, organic ingredients, including plenty of fruits and veggies, you can take a deep breath, relax, and cut out some of the mealtime stress that’s been bogging you down.

In this article, I’m comparing Yumble vs. Nurture Life, painting for you a picture of each service and their offerings so you can choose the right one for your family.

Why Use a Kids Meal Delivery Service?

Choosing a kids meal delivery subscription allows you to provide your children with fresh, home-cooked meals with all the nutrients they need, without all the stress and hassle of trying to make them yourself.

The ingredients in the meals are fresh, organic, high-quality, and designed just for kids. That means you’ll see all your kids favorite foods like chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and quesadillas, but with plenty of fruits and veggies packed in.

These meal services are designed to offer a healthy, easy, nutritious alternative to cooking at home and to help foster healthy eating habits, even with the pickiest of eaters.

All About Yumble

Yumble was founded by a mom of three, Joanna Parker, when she realized that doing it all was near impossible and that she wasn’t the only mom who was struggling to do so.

She founded Yumble as a way to help save parents time and energy planning, preparing, and cooking healthy meals for their children. She wanted to help parents by giving them back some of their time, thereby reducing their stress and allowing them more opportunity to spend quality time with their children.

Yumble offers fresh, balanced meals, developed for kids, and delivered in pre-portioned, refrigerated boxes right to your door. We actually ordered and tried yumble so you can see for yourself in our review of yumble kids.

Yumble FAQs

Q: How do meals stay fresh during shipping?

A: Your meals will arrive at your door packed in an insulated box that contains enough frozen gel packs to keep them at a safe temperature until they arrive at your home and you put them in your refrigerator.

Q: How often are meals delivered?

A: Once per week! You’ll receive a shipping notification and tracking number with each shipment and you will receive all 6, 8, or 16 meals that you ordered that week per your plan.

Q: Am I charged weekly or monthly?

A: Your subscription is week-to-week, so your card will be charged for each active week as long as your subscription is still in place. If you’re going out of town one week or want to skip a week for any reason, all you need to do is indicate that in your profile and you won’t receive the food or be charged for that week. You can also cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked.

Q: Can I freeze the meals?

A: Meals are generally good for up to 7 days as long as they are refrigerated and consumed before their printed expiration date. Yumble does not recommend freezing their meals as some of them don’t reheat as well as others. However, the meal trays they come on are freezer-safe, so you’re welcome to freeze them and reheat if you are comfortable with it.

All About Nurture Life

Nurture Life was founded by Steve Minisini and Jennifer Chow who decided that kids needed and deserved better. As parents themselves, they knew that the general population wants to feed their children nutritiously, but it’s a struggle because we’re surrounded by easy, convenient meal options that are filled with junk that’s flat out unhealthy for consumption.

They want to help kids and families everywhere start out on the right foot when it comes to healthy eating and nutrition by making healthy, nutritious meals convenient and affordable for families.

Recently, our Registered Dietician Nutritionist Lindsey DeSoto, wrote a review of Nurture Life to see if it was, in fact, legit. It's a great read and you'll get a lot of good insight from her as she's a Fit Healthy Momma as well!

Similar to Yumble, Nurture Life delivers fresh, organic meals designed for various ages and stages right to your doorstep each week in eco-friendly packaging.

Which Kids Meal Delivery Service Is Better For Your Family?

When comparing Yumble and Nurture Life, it’s easy to see how both companies are on a similar mission. In all honesty, I think that both kids meals delivery service are fantastic and that you can’t go wrong with either. However, Nurture Life serves a wider range of ages.

So if you’re looking for meals for the whole family, Nurture Life may be your best option as they serve meals made for ages 10 months through adulthood. That said, if you have a picky toddler (or two like me!) Yumble is fantastic for toddlers and young kids who traditionally don’t eat much, especially nothing healthy.

I chose Yumble for my kids, ages 2 and 4, and they absolutely love the meals. Of course, there are days when some items are left untouched, but for the most part, I have seen a significant increase in their food consumption. Between the novelty of the meals and how they are designed to be aesthetically pleasing and fun for kids and their great taste, my kids have started to eat healthier and more nutritiously despite all my precious best efforts.
